The CURE Rocks!!! Their latest self-titled album, released 2000, has got to be the best one out there! The hit single, "The End Of The World", is one of my favorites from all of the 11 tracks. Other hits like "Lost", "Anniversary" and "Us Or Them" are songs that i like listening to. To sum it all up, The CURE's music will "Never" die ... ROCK ON!

    Posted by Nick Frankline:
Awesome CD!! I am hooked on "Anniversary" and "Lost" but for the most part every song rocks. Totally on the level of Disintegration and Bloodflowers!!

I LOVE labyrinth so much! i just got the new cd a couple of days ago and it rocks. i'm pretty sure my favourite album will always be disintegration, but i think this one is pretty much a close second... although, what about pornography and bloodflowers...

This cure album is one of their best. While "The End of the World", being as good as it is, came out as a hit on the radio, there are other tracks on the album just as good, maybe better. My personal favorite is "Labyrinth", but "Taking off" and "Before three" are such awesome songs. I love how the cure can progress and progress, but never lose their image or vibe, as other bands tend to do. This CD is still very much the cure, acutally at their best. This album being a cd-extra is also especially great, the "secret site" it leads you too has so much cool stuff on it! I especially like the interview with Robert Smith. And so, to match the juvenile ambiance of the album art, I'd like to say "A+"!

SO yea, I got the new cure album "the cure"....it's pretty good...it's not like the old stuff that I;m used to but this album is definetely a classic. it has very deep songs and not so many hit songs so if you like quality music, pick it up

i love the cure so much that its inpossible to explain in words. there music has so much variety and they have a song for about every felling one can under go. there music is kick ass while at the same time being etherial and beautiful.

it's amazing just how cool the cure are. their music is one of a kind. they've been around longer than i've even been alive and i love their music. for a band to 'speak' to generations even after it's prime is rare, they deserve to be in the r and r hall of fame all the way.

The Cure have a sound that is uniquely their own. They are practically a genre unto themselves. Robert's voice is unique and his lyrics are smart. His style has been mimicked by such bands as Radiohead and The White Stripes... but there will never be another!

The Cure are simply the most miserable, incredible and unique band in the music history.

The cure are the most wonderful band's of all time, actually the greatest. Robert smith as this voice that makes you speechless after you here his music. the music speaks in ways that you can't imagine. For many years I've been widely and, madly in love with everything they do. They pull you in by the magnitude of what they create. I may not have been around very long through the 80's when they bloomed but sincere it has touched every emotion even in my youth. Robert smith has written wonderful songs deeply they speak of matters that we feel and that we can't understand why but in hope they have this cure to make people stop and smile. the whole band are like the world to me they have enormous energy. I'm grateful to what they have done for me and other people for what they do. They might not know it but i hope they see it when we sing along to those beautiful lyrics or when we start to move our hips back in fourth slowly when listening to the beat. those things are the most precious things when people attend concerts or just relaxing at home doing nothing except hearing the cure feeling Awfully, good about what there doing at that moment. If i had a chance to express my love for them in any way needed i wouldn't hesitate to do so.Just like heaven. Yes, that's what they are my sweet heaven.

The Cure are my heroes. Great music. The synths and overall feel they have is undeniably awesome. Plus they've paved the way to today's goth scene and rock itself.

WHY IS THE CURE MY FAVORITE ROCK GROUP, WHY NOT, THEIR EARLY MUSIC PAVED THE WAY FOR MANY BANDS, THEIR EARLY STUFF IN THE LATE 70'S EARLY 80'S IS SOME OF THE MOST INFLUENCIAL MUSIC, I THINK ROBERT SMITH IS SO OVERLOOKED HAS A MUSICIAN AND LYRICSIS ROBERT SMITH HAS WRITTING SOME OF THE MOST ROMANTIC, BEATIFUL, AND DEEP MUSIC, YOU COULD LISTEN TO THE CURE AN FEEL SOME HOPE WHEN EVER THE WORLD LOOKS DARK AND YOU FEEL REGRET, THEIR ALOT ROCK EN ESPANOL BANDS THAT WHERE REALLY INFLENCED BY THE CURE, IVE BEEN TO FIVE CURE SHOWS AND THEY ALWAYS BLOW ME AWAY AT HOW GOOD THEIR MUSIC SOUNDS LIVE, THE CURE IS ROBERT SMITH AND ROBERT IS A BIG PART OF MY LIFE, AND ALWAYS WILL BE HIS MUSIC AS CHANGE MY LIFE, AND MADE ME A BETTER PERSON AND MADE ME SEE LIFE A LITTLE DIFFERENT THEN OTHERS, THE CURE IS THE BEST BAND TO COME OUT OF POST PUNK GOTH MOVEMENT, THE CURE SHOULD DEFENTLY BE IN THE ROCK N ROLL HALL OF FAME. FAVORITE ALMBUM: DISINTEGRATION, BLOODFLOWER, WISH, WILD MOOD SWINGS AND BOYS DONT CRY, FAVORITE SONG: JUST LIKE HEAVEN, TRUST, OUT OF THIS WORLD, PLAINSONG, AND CATCH BEST WISHES; ADRIAN GALAXYIE@AOL.COM

the cure is wonderful not only because their music is beautiful, but their lyrics are so insightful and true, which is more than i can say for the majority of the bands out there. robert is truly a talented poet and musician, and simon, jason, roger and perry are equally as talented. if you just close your eyes and listen to all of their different sounds blending together harmoniously, you will realize how amazing they are. just listen to the words...there is a song for every single mood you may possibly be in. i mean, how many other bands out there have 2 songs that are so different as to have the lyrics "and the rain would cry as our faces slip away" on one, and another say "the sun is up i'm so happy i could scream." all i can say is that the cure has and always will have a special place in my heart. and i am definitely playing lovesong at my wedding! any others who love the cure can email me at dbananaz@dork.com. thanks! ~diana
