I saw Anthrax for the first time on sunday night, here in the the georgous Melbourne, Australia at the Palace. I'm a big fan of Fear factory and slipknot, and hadn't heard alot of Anthrax stuff. I was blown away, that even for a grounded band that have been round for ages, really Fuken know how to put on a rockin' show! I don't know what the best songs are to download tho, i'm broke and can't buy the albums, i bet alot of people out there in the same boat. any suggestions? Anthrax, Rock!

Anthrax is the most original metal group in the world. Surviving the 80's and the 90's shows strenght. With kick ass albums like among the living, stomp 442 and volume 8 the threat is real they showed the world who they are. The group survived many break ups and having their record studio along with all their equipment burn down naming one of the greatest albums evered made Persistent of time. Anthrax truly is the greatest group to walk this planet.

Anthrax Roseland Ballroom, NYC, NY 02.15.02 Filling The Roseland Ballroom with electric energy, Anthrax had fans remembering why they're one of a handful of metal bands to survive and thrive since the early 80s. Band members Scott Ian, John Bush, Charlie Benante and Frank Bello seemed as excited to play as fans were to be there. Playing a much anticipated sold out show, Anthrax was welcomed by a capacity crowd with devil horns help high. Enthusiastic and proud to be performing, Anthrax let no one down. After the band's intense performance singer John summed it up best, paying homage to Priest. After a pause and a great big grin, there was nothing left to be said other than "F**king Metal!" Bassist Ian recalled Anthrax first played The Roseland back in 1984 alongside Metallica. 18 years later, Anthrax is still kicking The Roseland's ass.

hey GUY u can't b much of a fan if u can't even spell MegaDeth correctly but MegaDeth are kool (Metallica much better), Anthrax rule love their earlier thrash, if anyone knows where to find guitar tabs for "Indians" let us know, cheers.

    Posted by Kyle:
They've definently changed there sound, but they still kick ass and have always been metal.

    Posted by Zack:
    Anthrax rules you fool!

    Posted by Not You:
I Bet their feeling rather bad right about now

    MEGADEATH RULES

    Posted by Joe:
Anthrax is the best rock band ever. They have stuck with their music for 20 years and haven't quit or turned into sell-outs like metallica.

    Posted by Trendkiller:
I disagree that they haven't changed their sound (there has been less compression in the guitars since The Sound Of White Noise), but I love 'em, and agree that they are one of the greatest and most under-rated bands around. "Volume 8" had some really kick arse stuff. Though they might have changed their sound a tad, they haven't compromised as much as Metallica or Megadeth have in the last ten years. They Rule!

    Andy
Anthrax is one of the greatest metal bands because they havent changed there sound or sold out to anyone. they play for the love of the music and they play there music very well. i agree with mike tell your friends that they rule!!

    Mike
Anthrax is one of the best metal bands around, highly under-rated, tell all your friends, Anthrax rocks!!
