13 is a great record
Girls and boys was umm weird!
But blur as a band they are smashing!!

13 is probably their worst record by a mile. Tender, No Distance, and Coffee & TV are ok, but the rest is fairly bland & tuneless William Orbit induced boredom. Stuff like 'Girls & Boys' shouldn't be taken too seriously cos its mid-90s club 18-30 social commentary set aptly to catchy disco music. If you want to get into them, then get 'blur'(97) (stuff like 'song 2'), and if you've more eclectic tastes, then get 'Modern life is rubbish' (93) or 'Parklife' (94). Cheers.

13 is by far the best blur album out there....in my opinion, anyway. Each song is amazing yet, is not predictable. They switch genres from one song to the next. If you have only heard the "girls who like boys who like girls", song, please forgive them, and pick up 13!!!
