Let me tell u this. Destiny Child is a great group no matter what. The issue is that everyone thinks that Beyonce' is taking over. They think that Beyonce' is trying to be the TOP singer of this group. It's kind of true. I think that Beyonce' waas better when she was in the group wih Kelly, LaTavia, and Latoya! (No disrespect Michelle) Why isn't Beyonce' like she use to be. I loved the group better when Beyonce' made the group seem like what it was. A GROUP! There is no doubt that Beyonce' can hit those high notes and there is no doubt that Beyonce' gets all the men attention. She's very talented but I wish I could see the other Beyonce'. The one that helped make Writings on the Wall #1. Kelly and Michelle have beautiful voices. That's why Kelly solo Cd sold 2 million and Michelle solo Cd had two top gospel hits. You always give props to God cause he's on top. I don't know why Latavia and Latoya left he group. I heard it was because of Beyonce' and her dad Matthew. Beyonce' is a great singer and dancer but I just wish I could see the Beyonce' that fitted in with the group and took turns with the spotlight.

destiny's chils is my favorite group. i am from houston texas and i support them. i met them (the original members)right before they got big at Windsor Villiage( church in houston). I knew that one day they'd make it because hearing them sing amazing grace at the church was great. even though they have been through some rogh times, they are still number one. 17th June – 8:45 p.m., Finsbury Park, London and three heavenly bodies rise from beneath the ground. The crowd go mad and the screaming is LOUD. The funky beats start and the crowd are ‘ gettin’ jiggy with it.’ The three goddesses on stage are none other than the magnificent Destiny’s Child. They start asking ‘ All my Independent Women where you at ? ‘ and a sea of hands instantly shoot into the air. Just to spice up the second verse Beyoncé puts a reggae twist on it and then towards the end of the song the rock part kicks in. Everyone goes wild. Next is a funked up version of ‘ So Good’ and my oh my they definitely are. Going back to the first smash hit single ‘ No No No ‘, Kelly asks if we know the words and in perfect unison the crowd sings back to her with hands flailing everywhere.
‘ Bug A Boo, you buggin’ what, you buggin’ who ? You buggin’ me, ’ chant the girls. The music kicks in and the crowd start dancing, it’s total utter madness and the vibe from both the girls and the crowd is buzzing. The girls accompany the song with some high quality Tina Turner style dancing and finish in a flurry, (Beyoncé’s hair just keeps getting bigger ), straight into the next song ‘ Bills, Bills, Bills ‘ and as soon as the first note leaves Beyoncé’s mouth the crowd are ecstatic. We obligingly fill in the gaps left by B – ‘ Ant then you ask to use my what? ’, and we shout back ‘ Car. ’ Michelle then takes the second verse and boy the crowd goes absolutely mental, the Queen herself would probably of heard those screams !! We are going wild for Michelle, making her feel really welcome in England and all of DC have huge grins from ear to ear.
‘ Are y’all feeling Bootylicious, ‘ asks Michelle cheekily while shakin’ her booty. All the girls laugh and the big guitar riff kicks in. The crowd are really pumped by now. These girls are definitely Bootylicious in their graffiti styled pants, shorts, and skirt. The girls then take a breather- ( they deserve it because they haven’t stopped since they got on stage ), and talk to the crowd who are by now so hyped they could explode. ‘ What’s are name ?,’ asks Beyoncé and the crowd reply ‘ DESTINY’S CHILD ‘, and then they belt out the classic hit ‘ Say My Name ’
Time for a change of clothes and the girls arrive in long flowing yellow skirts and short tops. They perform Lionel Ritchies ‘ Sail On ‘ and the harmonies are beautiful. Another excellent cover, ‘Emotions’, follows this. Now it’s time for Beyoncé to thank the crowd and for the group to thank each other- even this is excellent. Then we are blessed with their a cappella ‘ Gospel Medley.’ These girls have TALENT and they prove it. As soon as they start singing ‘ Jesus Loves Me ’ the crowd begin to too! I think this shocked them a bit but in a pleasant way.
The stage goes black, the dancers come on and the crowd starts boogying. DC reappear wearing skimpy spangled outfits. In the words of Rod Stewart- ‘ They wear it well!’ ‘ How many y’all ready to jump?’ asks Beyoncé. The whole crowd is bouncing, and I mean BOUNCING. Beyoncé is repeatedly telling us to jump and bounce and who are we to argue? The crowd are fully fledged bouncers. The atmosphere is outta this world. Just as ‘ Jumpin’ Jumpin’ feels as if it’s going to end it suddenly turns into an impromptu version of Missy Elliott’s ‘ Get Ur Freak On’, with B putting her own DC version to the crowd. The encore is ‘Survivor’. It’s mega, huge, brilliant and an unforgettable day. These girls really are true Survivors.

Aaron, I agree with most of the things you said. I'd do anything to have Beyonce switch places with Aaliyah. But I guess God deserves the beautiful ones more than we do here on earth. RIP Aaliyah! People are always telling me I look just like Beyonce Knowles of Destinys Child. I wish they wouldn't. I've gotten to know her over the last couple of days and she made me sick. The hore has no class. She'll burp in your face, fart in front of you, pick her nose, ass, and anything else she feels. Then had the nerve to brag about how long and pretty her hair is, three hours before her mom glued in a new weave. I couldn't believe it. Especially since my hair is almost as long as her weave. When you get up close to her you can tell. The middle of her hair is almost shoulder length and the edges are broken off from the bleach. Kelly only got two pieces glued in and Michelle got a row sewn in the back. Michelle was the most fun to be around. She kept me laughing and had some intelligent things to say. Kelly was kind, always asking me if I wanted something and trying to make me feel at home. Although she was nice to me, I don't like her as much as I like Michelle. After talking to her about her relationship with "Bee" her morals are questionable. The only time "Bee", which I'm beginning to think stands for bitch, talked to me was if I complimented her on the way she looked that day. FYI: comparing Destinys Child to a cult is not a difficult task. There aren't any differences.

My only real complaint for Destiny's Child is, "why does Michelle always have to have the boring hair and longest pants/ tops? Whats up everyone, I think that Destiny's Child is a group like no other. They sing about what is really going on in relationships today. They are not out there talking about what project they are from or how much money they have. They are real and that is the main reason that I appreciate them and there songs. They also know where there talent comes from and that is God and I am so happy that they are not afraid to say how they were brought up and what they believe in. Destiny's Child is part of the Viacom monopoly that has got to stop. If they were not on Columbia's record label, they would not have sold that many albums. I do agree with the stance on teen sex, but can we please pick a more modest spoke person for this topic. It's hard to get the message to wait when they're wearing those skanky clothes. Their latest album was rushed out there for the sole purpose of making money.
