Meant to say on last posting that I actually heard them before I saw them, I suppose that is what old age does for you X

Planet Earth was released on 2/2/81, my 14th birthday. I saw them before I heard them and when I did see the boys, BONUS!! I've been going to see them since '81, even as band members came and went, and saw them last night in Glasgow. They just get better and better and I am so proud that they are still around to show these new 'artistes. or as I prefer to call them, UPSTARTS, just exactly how it is done. They are and will always be the best band in the world for me and thankfully, millions of others. Merry Christmas to all Duran fans. V XX

Duran Duran is awesome. i've been a fan for 20 years and i'm 28 years old.I love Pop Trash, it is awesome. I saw them also this summer. The concert was fantastic over 18 songs they sang, now what other group would stay that long and entertain you? None that is right, all the groups out today suck. All the boy bands and girl groups lip sing in concert. Not the greatest band in the world called DURAN DURAN.They are the best!!

What can I say about Duran Duran ! During the mid 80's when they were at there peak they were the biggest band since the Beatles. They changed the way future music video's were produced. They had style and grace and at the end of the day they wrote there own music and played their own instruments, not many boy bands had done that before and still haven't today. They also done something which only a handful of uk bands have ever done and that is to conquer the U.S and the rest of the world. When it comes to a live show they really start to shine, its not a case of turn up and plug a few new songs from a new album its more of a whole evenings entertainment - Light shows, tv screens , you name it they include it. These guys no how to Rock ! Keep it coming boys !
