Why should Jack and Mark be held responsible for the Station tragedy? A lot of you who are writing are apparently not from this area and are going by from what you see and hear on CNN and word of mouth. So who do I think is to blame? Being a lifelong resident of West Warwick who lost friends that night I think that the West Warwick Fire Marshal Irving J. Owens needs to be in prison. He sat on his ass after knowing the Station had several violations. Did he go back to check? No! He said he called and asked them if everything was fixed, he stated the owners said yes and left it at that. What are we fu**ing paying him for. I have a new job for him; it pays $1.00 a day. I’ll take a vanity plate please. I also have two cellmates for him: Jeffrey and Michael Derderian who lied about the whole pyrotechnics thing. I have been to the Station many times and this was not the first time pyrotechnics have been used there. Great White was in the wrong place at the wrong time. It was a tragedy and an accident. But an accident that should have and could have been prevented. Irving J. Owens and the Derderian brothers should each be charged with 100 counts of reckless endangerment death resulting just to start with.

Thanks for all the wonderful music and excellent memories for the past twenty years. Great White and in paritcular, Jack Russell and Mark Kendall are in my estimation stand up guys. Facing the day quite literaly via the media and going to every city they went to in 2003 for the "help us help them" tour for the station family fund. My hat's off to them. Be blessed Jack and Mark!!!

Your all f#cking morons.Great White is one of the greatest rock bands of all time and many of u can't see that. it's a pitty. oh yea, they had the authorization to use fire works on a written paper. it had been used before there and its the clubs fault bcuz they painted the cealing with tar and walls were foam, they even did a tour to raise money for the families, which they didn't have to do. people use propain there with fire. GW just was not with lady luck that night. so f#ck u all who think other wise and God bless those of u who agree with me!

Club owners are the ones that are ultimately responsable for their club. If they didn't know what was going on in there club then they weren't good owners! Great White is not the first band to do this in this venue!
