Marilyn Manson is seriously one of the greatest artists of all time. I've been a fan since 2001 when i was nine. The way he talks about subjects ignorant people will not even think about is truely mesmorising. He's been in the band since 1989 and has been p***ing off mothers across the world ever since. People say hes a bad influance and that he makes kids commit suicide but he doesn't, hes one of the reasons why i havent. the way people blame him for incidents that don't even involve him is extremly f***ed up and if they would just see that he has his own mind and the fans have theirs then there wouldn't be anymore dispuit. the nobodies was a wakeup call for me and made me realise i wasn't a prep, was a goth. a nobody in society but as long as you're a fan to marilyn manson you're not a nobody, you're unique and you're different.
He's intellegent and a good man at heart.

I, myself, have never been to a Mariyln Manson concert (much to my dislike. I want to go very bad!) But i have analyzed all of his lyrics and read his book 'A Long Hard Road Out of Hell". I think people misunderstand him! Some hate him because they think he worships the devil and wants to sacrafice their children to satan, some only like him because he's creepy looking. I think both are the wrong reasons to like him. I love Marilyn Manson for what he represents! He has brought me to realize what i always suspected about my beliefs in Religion. He is a great and well respected, in my eyes, man who should keep on with his ways of storming through the world as we know it and changing the way people think about everything! i would write more about my understandings of him (or what i think i know about him) but i am out of time.

I've seen ALOT of major concerts, then saw Manson at the Wiltern Theatre in L.A. on 12/20/04... never seen a better show ever!!!People were following this tour from State to State and Town to Town. Okay, I'm a Manson fan in moderation, but I'm not going to say much past that. I agree that he is somewhat overproduced, but this for me has no impact on the actual music, which is pretty good. He's a good artist and knows how to put on a show.
I have TGAOG, and I actually liked it, particularly the title track. I think both the fans and the haters here should chill down a bit. It's the middle of the night, so that's all.

Marilyn Manson is a unique diverse band, with an indivudalist mind. No band out there can comprehend manson, nor match the magnitude of his mind, that is as we know, Marilyn Manson. His recently produced album, GAOG, though not considered his best, was not released because they are in dire need of cash flow, but merely because it is a change the whole band agreed upon. Trying to write a comment to top out the previous is pointless. I refused to get into this but, I miss the reviews about the music. To tally it up, there's a lotta fights and a lotta people jumping the gun about others before getting to know them better. I appreciate the comments on the music and nothing more. To those trying to convince those whom they are arguing with a word of advice: comments you make should stray from being in any form of ignorance otherwise you feed the disgust and really are no better. To those who continue to write statements of anger and insults you are making others distraught and cold. Most of you are awfully bitter and need to think ahead. What response are you expecting anyway from the person(s) you are attacking? If you take joy in the simple pleasures of making someone else uncomfortable, I suggest that there are many other things that can do the same pleasure. Just remember that the following on this page is just words nothing more. No one is gonna come to your door and smash you in the face or act out what they say. Threats are weak and pointless. I'm sure someone will attack me apon stating this but, I won't follow it up. If anything I will comment on the creativity that manson has, the distaste I have in some of his actions, and the pity I have for him because of the spotlight the press puts on him. Nuff said.

First off, chauvinism is annoyingly low. Manson has good music. I would write a long winded review but I'm a little tired. I do have lot to say though. He's a pretty cool guy. I don't agree with everything he does (his chandelier is made of an Ethiopian boy's skeleton, that's just wrong!) but, he's incredibly intelligent and very observative. has anyone else seen "bush" on Mansons video for "Tainted Love"? I don't know what watered down version they are playing on TV in America, but here in Europe its "in your face" practically! You have to pay attention and keep your eyes on the screen or else you won't catch it. If any of you are old enough to remember there was quite a bit of controversy over Alice Cooper in the early 70's. Nothing has changed in that respect as now the media's whipping boy is Manson. My guess is he will be around for a long time as he is an expert at manipulating the media. He's also quite a performer!

Marilyn Manson, one of the most annoying people if you are a parent. Sure, he might to drugs, he might cut himself and swear, that's the only way people will listen to him. Personally i love him, i am not a goth and i don't worship satan or anything, but he has a good point. He puts thought and time into these albumns, there is always a deeper meaning to the songs, words, albumns, tours, there always is. It is all about being yourself, not letting other people inspire you to be someone else. I don't believe in god or anything like that, but i don't go around annoying christians. But one thing that manson has taught me is that christians can really pee you off, brainwashing you, if you give a baby a bible when he can just about read and understand, he will belive in god, go to church and become a big christian. If you give another baby a book about the devil, it shall go and hate christianity. So it's not about being yourself with both books, so be yourself and don't let anything stand in between in what you want to do and what you don't want to do.

Marilyn Manson is probably one of the the, if not THE, most intelligent entertainers in the business today. Completely unique and original, manson blows away other shock rockers like Alice Cooper and Ozzy osbourne with the fact that he IS Marilyn Manson. he's a freak to the core, on stage and off, he's not just some gimmick. He doesn't try to change himself and I respect him for it. His ideas about originality, government, and religion are clear;y relized in his excellent industrial-metal music. He is NOT a satanist, he has no relgion. Sure he goes against christianity, but so does common sense, science, and logic.
