    damn good stuff

Queens of the Stone age and System of a Down are the last hope of the rock era. Without these two bands to even things out with their original and ingenious music, rock will just fade into pop music one way, and ultra heavy metal the other way. These two bands have what it takes to save and change the face of rock music for the future.

Queens of the stone age, rule. Finally some good stoner rock. Damn Homme's guitar sounds awesome. What a cool band.

    Posted by Sam:
I think they rock! And mr homme is a very pretty person. Grohl is excellent as allways too. Perfection ;)

    Eu adoro QOTSA!

The Queens of the Stone Age are the best band in the world. The way i see it, I could go out and buy more CD's, but I allready have all the QOTSA albulms. When I first heard them I was hooked. Definately the best out there

    Posted by Jesse:
Don't compare QOTSA to Bush. Bush sucks. Bush was the most succesful as well as the most flagrant Nirvana ripoff that ever disgraced us with their mediocre presence.

Darn tootin! QOTSA are very good indeed. I hung out with them this past September at a backstage celebration in St. Louis. Those guys are f****ng awesome! The first time I heard a Queens song I was blown away and I have been ever since. Message to Dave Grohl: Please quit your day job, I've already talked to Josh and Nick and they both agreed that you are the master drummer. The current drummer isn't bad though, he just isn't Mr. Grohl. Dave's just got a bad-a** style to his drumming that no one else can replicate and I hope he's on the next QOTSA album.

...Ah, the perfect blend of smart and stoopid... Raskolnikov takes bong hits to their music in a twisted parallel universe, I'm sure... (a high compliment indeed).

Queens of the Stone Age carry something that most bands out there don't have, and their songs float or rattle to a dreamy, catonic, eery glow. They drive hard and pound their riffs out in blurred onslaughts that sound like a harder and more serious remix of the stoner rock bands of the 70's. Queens of the Stone Age kick ass.

Since Kyuss split, there was no hope for 90s rock, apart from Metallica, Faith No More and Pantera. Then out of nowhere came Queens Of The Stone Age with their self titled debut album the press, Kyuss fans and celebs including Dave Grohl and Courtney Love were blown away. Queens aes here to start a rock revolution, to rid the world of diluted "image rock" like Korn, Slipknot and Papa Roach. And you will not be disappointed!!! May the Queens rule for many years!!! You Cant Quit Me Baby: one of the finest songs ever written as well as Lost Art Of Keeping A Secret. The live shows are far from ordinary also, having seen them twice i can confirm that they are one of the best bands out there, bar none!

Queens of The Stone Age are the coolest band since the early 90's. If you liked the sounds of Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Bush, Screaming Trees, Nirvana, and everthing else grunge you will love Queens of The Stone Age. Every song of theirs I have heard I have loved, so start listing to this amazing band if you arnt already.
