I suggest you at least pick up Seasons in the Abyss, it's not satanic, not anti-religious, it's just good. Listen to the title track, and you will understand

I recently saw a SLAYER tribute band. They are called Dead Skin Mask. I was a mazed with how close they sound to SLAYER! The drummer is definitly capable of actually being IN SLAYER! I was floored. The vocale resemble Divine Intervention to God Hates Us All. Check these guys out. deadskinmask.com

I just got the "Reign in Blood" album not too long ago, and that cd may as well be THE greatest metal album that I have listened to. I'll probably also get "Seasons in the Abyss"; that one will be good, too. Nobody can mess with Slayer.

I was at the Hershey centre on Sept 5th watching SLAYER perform live. I do not have words to describe the energy and intensity of the band which has been in the metal world for 20 years.. They only seem to get heavier and louder. Tom Araya is just excellent with his spine chilling vocals which can scare the daylights out of anybody looking on the other side. Jeff and Kerry are excellent guitarists with great co-ordiantion. The Mosh pit was huge and the energy the fans possessed was incredible. I'm a Slayer fan Forever.. Everytime they play in Toronto, I'll be there

I have only heard Bloodline and Here Come the Pain off the new release, but when I heard some little 'grunge' baby comment that 'Slayer was getting old' I lost it. Slayer has proved itself as the icon of metal. Movie soundtracks, metal compilation recordings, tribute recordings, the bloody intro song for the original Power Hour on Much Music, and God knows what else would suggest it, the fanbase might give you a clue, but listen to what they do. Guaranteed to evoke something. Somehow they packaged contempt, aggression, and hate.

Slayer describes a feeling that's known to every human being,(although most of them deny it); anger/hate/bitterness, with two guitars, bass, drum and a very convincing spokesman. Not many persons can claim that they have been loyal to the source of inspiration they started with, even when just nobody believed in it.
I think that only some artists deserve the terme 'integrety', but slayer is for sure one of them.

I think Slayer has something really cool about them cause they are becoming even more true to slayer form with their new title god hates all. ALthough i belive thats statement is wrong slayer has shown the are getting even more intense adn will continue to be themselves regardless of what bands like metallica are doing with their evolving style which has become less thrashy and more sabbathy.

Unlike many bands that lead the metal charge back in the day, they are one of the only ones that remain true to form. For example, Metallica was once great, now they suck, have imploded and simply no longer exist. SLAYER is the benchmark for this type of music - long live SLAYER!
