Alabama 3 are in their own words,"sweet pretty country acid house music",this, while true leaves out much.
They are also a very political band, playing live at the J-Day Festival, and championing the causes of such individuals as the recently released Robert Brown.
Their songs reveal a broad mix of influences, from House and Techno, through to Blues,Jazz,Country and Bluegrass. While these musical genre's may seem like strange companions,Alabama 3 fuse them together to make a sound all their own.

"JUST BECAUSE I BURNED MY BIBLE, BABY, IT DON'T MEAN I'M TOO SICK TO PRAY" -Larry Love. A3, one of the best "new" bands to come along in a along time, unique, totally unique, mixing religion, sex, drugs, and rock and roll. Yes these guys are British, though to listen to them they sound like a bunch of rednecks from Texas. Kinda country, kinda groovy, kinda inspirational, sex, drug addiction, and religion. I can't think of a better combination. This is Alabama 3. Must haves for A3 (as they seem to be known in the states) are "Exile on Coldharbour Lane", "La Peste", and the brand new release "Power in the Blood." Ain't Goin to Goa, baby!!!! I'm rehabilitated and ready to bear witness, bless the Rev. D Wayne Love!!! And keep your eyes open for those rarities that always are floating arond the net: Ya Busta and Zero Tolerance....two excellent live shows, and don't forget the singles and B-sides cd, if you can find it!!!
