They have great songwriting and they have Joey Sinopoli as their lead singer. Buy this one, as there will NOT be many melodicrock CD's this year better then this. BEST AOR CD in a LONG TIME.

Back in the mid-'80s before early Bon Jovi collaborator Jack Ponti formed Surgin and then went onto a fairly successful career as a producer, he played in a band called Angry Tears with fellow Toms River area Kiss fiends Joey and Nicky Sinopoli. The recently reunited Angry Tears has released its self-titled debut on the European Escape label. Former Love in Reverse drummer Andres Karu rounds out the band, whose melodic but mindless hard rock will appeal to fans of Kiss and Bon Jovi. Highlights include the danceable pop crunch of ‘‘Love Fades,'' the Ozzy Osbourne-like title track, and the Kiss-inspired tale of sin, ‘‘The Other Side of the Night.''
