When did the Beastie Boys turn into that nerdy kid down the street who plays with Star Wars dolls (while making light saber whooshing sounds)and start sounding like those kids on after school specials who rap basic end rhymes about crossing the street while holding your hands...they have gone down the toilet of staleness.

Ill Communication is obviously their best album but this compares for rawness. raw sounds laced with some bopping beats

The Bad Boys from Brooklyn may never get their proper dues, Limp Bizkit should remember the Beasties were around 15 years before they were. As for their views on Iraq- thank God someone is saying it. If not for the likes of the beastie boys, white stripes or nadsat fashion, nyc would be a nazi state by now. Respect your betters, people

I've liked the beastie boys for a long time, and even though I'm not as big a fan as I once was, there is still a place in my heart for them.*tear* They are f****ing awsome white boys!

Go to dictionaraoke.com or dictionaraoke.org or singingdictionary.com (or .org) for an hilarious version of the Beastie Boys' classic hit, "Girls." There are currently over 60 songs on the site, all sung by various on-line dictionary sound-clips (Merriam-Webster, MS Encarta dictionary, etc.)
