Trying to reach fans that were at the Red rocks for his August 2003 Show. I got engaged at the show and it was the best night of my life. Wondering if anyone has trinkets from the show?

Ben Harper's song Waiting on an angel touches me deeply and i dedicate it to my mom who died at a young age because she severly suffered from depression (i think you can figure that out), but the feeling that ben harper gives off in this song. I see this song as the words and thoughts that were going through my mom's head before she passed away. So, if you haven't heard this song yet, i suggest you should. It is a feel good song and lets me feel a bit of my mom everyday when i listen to it, eventhough she is no longer alive.

Another song that hits me in the heart is "ground on down", for all those people in my life in the past that have hurt me greatly. I can say i want to dedicate this song to them , with me yelling this song at them It is a song that i wouldn't want anyone to dedicate to myself, but rockin' to this song i can get some of the anger out that is immpossible to get rid of.Ground On Down Lyric

I can feel the energy from every song. Esspecially from ben harper's concerts. The first concert i went to was sometime in 2001 in Spokane, washington at the fox theatre. And ben harper pulled off an excellent show in a run down theatre that is really old. When i went to this concert i knew none songs of his, but heard he was good from a friend and i instantly feel in love with the music, and have been a fan since. Ben harper and the innocent criminals performed amazing music that i hadn't heard before from someone else. Their music just stick to you that you've got to love it. I can relate to alot of the songs because the first 15 years of my life was a cruel world (as to his first album "welcome to the cruel world"). Following, those cruel years i fought for my mind to survive the cruel world (ben harper's album fight for your mind). And of course i survived the cruel world because i fought and went from burn from the pain to shining like a Queen chaniqua (which is the the greatest. (which another album of ben harper is burn to shine. His music is soothing, theratpeutic, and loving. it is the greatest
His appearance at the Sasquatch fest at the gorge in george, washington of may 25 2002 was awesome and different from the first time i saw him because he was solo without the inocent crimminals doing acoustic singing. It was awesome, and i lost my voice the say before so i scretched my voice to sing along, but it was worth it. He is so real, and puts forth an awesome show. I LOVE HIS WORK.
