Csoul is the greatest band. Those guys are pretty much the coolest and most talented people in the world. But really, sometimes you just have to stop trying and throw it all out there and see what happens, in Blender, it come out pretty well.

BLENDER is neither their wosrt or best album. Those who say it is their woerst is wrong, because when you posses the talent and creation that Collective Soul posesses you leap outside of the realm of scales and rankings. IT would be like saying one of Picasso's works is better than another one, when in fact we are not qualified to judge. Since most bands sing about much more shallow stuff, they can be judged, like ACDC and Van Halen and Metallica, who all of which I believe wasted their potential as a musical group. Collective Soul took BLENDER to a new level by conglomerating a historic talen, Elton John, with their own life experiences, seen in Ten Years Later. Therefore to say "Blender is a prime example of what you can do when you don't put your mind to it" like user: BIGHOOTIE stated, is the exact opposite of what happened. the band had to evaluate more than ever who they were with the release of this album, their direction, and how they wanted to represent themselves. This is also seen in the removal of Ross Childress from the band. So, just think before you speak. There is no worst or best when it comes to Collective Soul, just more to think, hear, and evaluate.

blender is nothing but an utter and complete sell out to the pop market. what used to be a kick guitar band with hints allegations.. has turned into a sampling keyboard band that forgot how to write memorible songs. no wonder their sales have tanked, they just plain suck ass now!

Great concert. I am in love with Ed. Fantastic! At the House of Blues.

BIGHOOTIE
Blender is a prime example of what you can do when you don't put your mind to it. The band invested less time and energy into this album and it shows. I would rank it 5th among all Collective soul albums.

The new album "BLender" has to be my favorite and everyone out there should know that when a band writes their own music from their inner soul, then it is truly their music, unlike most artist today. CSoul is the best!!

with the new release of BLENDER,Collective Soul seems to be reaching out farther musically, lyrically, than any of their four previous releases. This effort shows what CS is really all about,a blend of five talented musicians collectively taking their fans on a journey somewhere closer to the soul.Thank you Ed,Ross,Dean,Will,Shane, for another fine Collective Soul album.
