Mark Allan: Lead vocals and Bass guitar:
Mark is one of those lucky ones who really
does not sound like any other
vocalists....he has a recognizable sound
that is unique. Mark fronts a live show that
keeps the audience interested and
anticipating the next move!
Mark has performed in various cover song
bands since highschool! Using a Fender
Precision bass guitar, Mark captures
audiences with charm and not often seen
talent in Kansas City!
Brian Lingle: Brian plays lead on a 1977
Les Paul Custom guitar. Both Max and
Brian now use Roland ME-30 multi-effect
units (which kick ass!!) allowing several
patches for fat...hot guitar sounds!
Brian has recently purchased an Ampex
guitar amp stack which added with the
ME-30 and the Les Paul (plus 22 years of
experience) produce sounds pleasing to all
rock fans! Also a veteran of the cover tune
circuit, Brian has what it takes to stand on
stage and make the crowd scream for
more! The newer original songs (not on the
Home Remedy CD) feature more the crisp,
screaming leads that Brian is more than
capable of producing!
Max Brando: Max also uses a 1977
guitar....a Fender Strat! Max provides the
perfect guitar combination with the
unmistakingly harmonic sounds of a
Fender mixed with Brian's Les Paul!
Max combines precise guitar work with
harmony leads and background vocals
(plus some keyboard) to create a well
rounded approach to CONTAGIOUS' style
of music. Max and Brian both write the
majority of songs for the band, each adding
to the other with different licks and styles
actually defining the band's sound. Max's
expertise on his guitar make for mistake
free live performances!
Charlie O'Neill: Charlie is the heart beat
of CONTAGIOUS! Not only does he play
percussions, and sing soprano background
vocals, it's his house we practice at!! We
even recorded the majority of the "Home
Remedy" CD in Charlie's garage!
Charlie has also added equipment to the
show...trigger units that allow
hundreds of different percussion sounds to
be available at a switch of a button! The
crowd goes nuts when he hits a drum roll
across his
toms....booming rich sounds!
Charlie is a natural drummer, he was able
to pick up sticks and play with both hands
and feet the first time he sat at a kit....some
15 years ago! Since then Charlie has
proven himself as one of the best
percussionists in the Kansas City
area...hands down!!
