| "I'm better than a Pepsi, I'm cooler than MTV" - so says Mr. Pop in the album
opener "I Wanna Live," and who are we to argue? At the not-so-tender age of 49, Iggy can still rock like a 19
year old. Who else could venture into the tacky-misogynism of "Pussy Power" and walk out unscathed, let alone
smiling? Certainly not any of his contemporaries, and very few 19 year olds. NAUGHTY LITTLE DOGGIE was
supported by extensive touring in which he systematically blew away countless mega-platinum fifth-generation
punk acts appearing on the same bill. More than proving that "he's still got it," the shows demonstrated that
these young whippersnappers could learn more than a few things from their elders. Taking cues from the
album's closing track, "Look Away," Iggy came on like a proud father giving advice. "Me I went straight," he
says, "and serious too. There wasn't much else I could do."
