wow i have listened to incubus for a long time, although not as much recently. i once heard of incubus touring with primus and faith no more at the same time, and i think buckethead was part of the tour too. couldn't get much better than that, since it was still in incubus' dreaded funky days. hell yeah, i couldn't imagine that show. how amazing would that be? oh yeah and aclotm isn't the greatest album, but im not gonna say it sucks like most people. its not very "fanly" to completely disown one of their albums but still be able to claim a band as your favorite. expand your horizons a little. sure aclotm is my least favorite incubus album, but its good. lyrically its not the greatest, but the instruments were pretty tight and put together very well. i can't imagine not liking an album by one of my favorite bands because its different. a band should grow as it is around, and remain interesting. its too bad not more bands can do this for years and years at a time.

yeh i liek them brandon definatley has a unique and amazign voice, not as good vocally and lyrically as maynard tho, but still very good, science is by far teir best cd and i have a felling it will always remain thier best work, but we'll never see them make another one liek it cuz they believe their new melodic work is better which is a shame cuz i personally hate ACLOTM and I'm beggining to loose interest in them.

I was a huge Incubus fan and was pumped for there new cd, but after hearign it I was extremely dissapointed, I'm not one of those people tho who say they have to make a record again like S.C.I.E.N.C.E, cuz I woudnt expect that from I give them credit that every Cd they do evolve there sound , but I for one was a huge fan of Morning view and A crow left of the murder just ddint d it for me.

I just want to say that Incubus is the best band on the scene for a long long time. They have been my favorite band since they I was like 14..so for like 7 years! All of their CDs rock..I dont have a favorite. Im not a teeny bopper so Im not gonna go on about how I love Brandon and blah blah but, Brandon you definately are a sight for sore eyes. And I definately would hold my body against you.(hence your pick-up line)But all in all..the 5 of you guys are the most talented men in music today!!!

Wow....saw my first Incubus show 10/14/02 (Incredible to say the least)...I used to be a huge teeny bopper fan.. (yea yea Britney, BSB, etc.) but they all got old, fast. In my search for REAL music I came upon a band called Incubus. I bought their latest album and fell in love instantly. I can't believe they weren't popular before Make Yourself. After Morning View, I went out and bought..Make Yourself, Fungus Amongus, SCIENCE, and Enjoy Incubus. I love them all and listen to them all the time. If I'm going through some tough times they are there to make everything great. They have a song for any kind of mood you are in. Incubus is a great band but their newest c.d. doesn't do much for me. Compared to their earlier records it lacks in intensity and is really boring. I think it is great of them to stray from their usual type of songs but they seem like they are straying from what the band was all about.

Incubus is the most talented band out there right now and they always will be. They are the definition of perfection. They are the only music I've known. Without their inspirational lyrics and their awesome concerts, I don't think I could have gotten through my life, and done as good as I have. Brandon Boyd has such an angelic voice, that carries me through everyday. Without the melodic music of Incubus each day, I would go crazy! Well, hello all! I literally just walked in from my
Incubus filled evening. I feel as though my insides
just tried to go everywhere at once. This was by far
the most incredble night I could have ever dreamed of
having. But, let's start at the beginning.
The concert actually started at 8, but as you know
doors open early and stuff so I had planned to meet my
friends at Tim Horton's in Hamilton at 5:30. Just as
I was about to leave my house the doorbell went. My
friend Kaleen (cute as anything, such a sweet gal) was
at the door. She works at a grocery store and had
brought me the new YM magazine with Brandon on the
cover. Imagine my excitement, it was perfect.
Anyway, I met my friends and we went to Copps
Coliseum. I was in "General Admission" seats meaning
I was on the floor in the mosh pit. So we went in and
looked at the merch and stuff (tell ya what I bought
in a sec). Soon after arriving, Phantom Planet came
out. I've heard some not-so-great things about them
in the past but they were pretty decent. Not ready to
take over the music industry yet but they definately
had potential. After their set, there was taped music
of stuff like "Audiovent's - Energy." I personally am
a fan of Audiovent so that got me even more excited.
Now to the best part......the lights went down again
and out came my boys! It was incredible. They
followed the set list that is going around to a tee (
I know they changed it for some other shows....that's
what I heard). Every single song was completly
perfect. The music was incredible, Brandon's vocals
were strong and the background screen matched the
music completely. The shirt came off during privilege
(in case you're interested). When they played
"Drive", during the second chorus EVERYONE was singing
along and it must have been soo loud b/c Mike looked
at us and smiled. You know one of those "wow, look at
all the people singing OUR songs" smiles....
I was 3 people from the stage on Mike's side, so I was
near Kilmore, Mike and Brandon was kinda everywhere,
but in perfect view. I could see Jose but not
perfectly but you can't win them all. Dirk was on the
other side of the stage but he came to my side towards
the end for a visit. :) The weirdest thing about the
whole night, was that after all the horror stories
I've been hearing about the mosh pits at their other
concerts.....this one barely had one! Being that
close to the front is usually SUCH tight quarters and
you get thrown around and stuff, but I was fine, no
pushing, basically enough room to do whatever I
wanted. A few people were crowd surfing but not many.
the only pushing was during "certain shade of green."
and even that was barely anything. I saw my friends
after the concert and they had been on the other side
(by Jose and Dirk) and they said it was nuts....so
apparently just my side was on morphine. I couldn't
smell that much weed either, which is also odd for an
Incubus concert. They finished the set with Mike
throwing out guitar picks into the audience and then
came out for the encore's on the set list. Aqueous
Transmission, like people say, was indescribable! The
frog sounds were there and the screen was beautiful.
When I was out front in line before the concert this
guy was giving out flyers for an "Incubus after-party
featuring some guy" and at first glance it made it
seem like the band was gonna be there......but they
weren't as far as I know...... They were toying with
my emotions! get them, get them! Anyway, so
that's pretty much it. I got a lot of merch though.
I got a sticker (just says Incubus) and a button
(group picture), the red baby doll shirt (long sleeved
with the heads on the front) and this guy that draws
pics of people had these framed pictures of Incubus.
They were drawn but look sooo cool and were only 15
bucks so I got one. It's the picture of their side
profile where Brandon is wearing the diamond sweater
vest thing. It's pretty cool. So, that
was my fantastic evening! On a scale of 1-10 it
would definately be a ten. Everything was perfect. I
respected Incubus so much before and though I didn't
think it was possible, I love and respect them even
more now!

With the amazing vocals of Brandon Boyd, the talented bassist Alex, and the awesome gitaurist Mike, the gift drummer Jose, and then tear jerker (in a good way) dj Kilmore, this makes a "real" band called Incubus. They actually play and make music instead of going to a studio getting pre-recorded sounds. And on top of that, there lyrics are real. They come from thier heart instead of from someone else's heart. That's what I like to find in music, not just the sound, but lyrics that actually mean something. I don't care if the music is wierd. If the lyrics are "real" and not just going on about something fake, then I enjoy the music. Incubus' music is not like those mindless idiots in rap talking about women are ho's and bitches. They actually are giving out a message and they are actually intelegent. Incubus is one the best music I have heard in my 25 years of my life.

No band even compares to the creativity that incubus puts into thier music. All their cd's rock, but if your a true incubus fan you gotta find some of their songs that werent even realesed. Like the acoustic version to almost all their songs. In closing I like to give special props to Jose Passillias, I feel your one of the best drumers in rock today. As of now Incubus IS the one and only definition for music. I mean come on! A well put together band of harmonious and poetic men, the vocalist, Brandon Boyd one of if not the sexiest men in music today, and they way they treat eachother as a family and can really be the only rock/pop band not afraid to show their feminine sides! The girls go mad for them! Incubus has got to be one of the greatest bands out there. I'm not going to write a whole page on how sexy Brandon is, but on how sexy the whole band is! Along with Brandon, this band just keeps coming with all the good songs. If anyone thinks they are sellouts, they need to go somewhere. I hate nothing more than when people say, "oh yeah, I liked them a lot...when they weren't sellouts" Blahblahblah. I hear that a lot. If you are a true fan, you will like them no matter how big they are. You should even give them more credit for the effect they put on listeners today. Incubus rocks and will forever!

I saw *Incubus* on October 6th , in New Orleans , they rocked ! Ive been into them for a while , so when i heard they were doing a tour i was STOKED ! Everyone who has even the little bit of intrest in them should go to one of there concerts they are great ! Ive been to tons of concert , seeing as i am a music fanatic , and *Incubus* was the best by far ! To me they have the type of music i can listen to anytime , happy, sad, mad, whatever... their lyrics are the type that somehow most people will be able to relate to . So.. thats my review , go pick up a copy of Morning View (or better yet any of their cd's)

incubus... what can i say about incubus? oh yeah, INCUBUS ROCKS! all their albums inspire me and they give such a powerful message in their music... incubus's songs don't involve drugs, sex and other bad things out rite now... they just show most of optimistic sides of today's society. i would also like to add that brandon doesn;t hog the spotlight like other lead singers do with other bands. they are all recognised as one. after all their hard/difficult years together, i think it is acceptable to call them a true band of brothers cuz they stuck by eachothers sides during bad times...KEEP ROCKING INCUBUS!!!

Okay, I love Incubus! I think that "Morning View" is the best album out there right now. They have hard songs that you can rock with (such as Blood on the Ground) and softer songs to relax you (such as Aqueous Transmission), so no matter what the mood, Incubus is perfect! And, they are great because their songs dont revolve around sex and drugs and swearing, so its safe for the kids. I also agree with those who think that if you love Incubus just because Brandon is hot, "screw off" because he's not the only member and he just sings. Sure hes hott, dont get me wrong, but there wouldnt BE an Incubus without drums, guitars, and a turntable! The turntable was the best thing that happend to the music world. Think of how different everything would sound without it! Anyways, I want to give credit to all those fans out there who fell in love with Incubus back in 1996-7 when they were just starting and also to those, like myself, who fell in love after Pardon Me shocked the airwaves of the radio. Thanks, Incubus, for all the inspirations that come with your music and if anyone out there is debating on an Incbus album and something else, go with Incubus. Its the best thing you could do for yourself. :)

I think Incubus is probably the best band! It's a good feeling to know that there is an amazing band that can be looked up to. It really is surprising to me that there is a band with so much intellect and humor between them. I know that the guys of Incubus are going to keep the success for quite some time because of who they are! I would have to say that Make Yourself is their best album yet. Today is the day before incubus's new album Morning View is released. And all i can say is please,please please,please,please,please, dont let the new album be 13 drive imitations. Although that is a good song im a tad worried that the new album may alienate some of the earlier fans.Incubus seem to be geeting more radio friendly and mainstream each album.Make yourself was a mix of the old and the new i just hope on the new album they dont forget about the fans that love there heavy funk style that grabbed our attention all those years ago in 1997. I first heard about Incubus like a year ago from my younger cousin and i never heard anything from them until "Pardon Me", not knowing it was them, i fell in love with the music, not just the voice. It's the kind of music that just penetrates your soul. I'm a girl and i love sexy men, and Brandon Boyd is sexy definitely, but i fell in love with the BAND before i saw what any of them looked like. I will say though, that i think that every member of this band is beautiful. These guys are incredibly talented artists who deserve a lot of credit for their originality. Incubus... YOU ROCK!

Their music is original, especially the stuff off S.I.E.N.C.E. and the new album is even better. they've taken time to develop their sound, and the diversity of the band shows. I believe that Incubus is by far the best, most inspirational, band out there right now. Brandon Boyd is gorgeous as well, but even without looking at him, Incubus' talent is evident. They inspire me to write better music myself, as their instrumental, vocal, and lyrical talent is outstanding. They are the type of band that a lot of these other bands are trying to be like lately, because I think that there is a realness and a freshness to Incubus' music that should be envyed. Also, I don't think that we should criticize people who come on this board and just talk about how hot Brandon Boyd is. He IS the coverboy of the band, and he is drop dead gorgeous! There's no denying it. The fact that he is a beautiful person does add something to his already amazing, talented persona. It shows that there are beautiful people out there who still think, and have talent, and are absolutely inspiring and amazing!

It's hard to belive that a band so perfect could be created. Incubus has the talent to combine so many different types of music to make the most beautiful music I have ever heard. incubus doesn't just write sappy love songs- you can tell they are the real deal. To make another albm as good as "Make yourself" would be nearly impossible, but for some reason I think the Incubus guys can do it.

Many times bands have a great concept, especially bands that incorporate a dj, but their music just sounds like noise. Incubus not only has a unique sound, but they also have something to say. truly beautiful. Brandon Boyd, if you only knew how much your lyrics mean to so many people..you have the ability to so perfectly carry out a tune..something that very little artists know how to do..
Well...all in all, this band is funky, energetic,..these guys truly know how to rock..
