I never feel better than when I turn on my matchbox20. I have to admit, More Than You Think You Are is their best album so far, but Yourself or Someone Like You was definatly the most raw. I love the song Kody! ~rock on~

...from listening to this garbage. Pick up a cd by any of the following artists for music the way it SHOULD sound.. Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Pink Floyd, Pantera, My Bloody Valentine, old Metallica, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, the Doors, Beatles, Zeppelin, Sabbath, heck not much is worse than this girly boy band.

Matchbox Twenty has definetly kicked up their ability to perform.I saw matchbowx 20 three years ago and while loving the music itself , did not care for the stand there and play performance. This year was a whole new story ... Matchbowx 20 came out and rocked the stage. Rob thomas puts such high quality vocal nergy into every song , while acknowkledging his adoring fans . They also have stepped up the carisma of the lead guitar rips. All band members seem to have felt the energy of the crowd and used it to put on a show of epic magnitude." Good job ! THERE ARE GREAT SINGERS. THERE ARE GOOD SONG WRITERS. TO HAVE THE TALENT THAT ROB THOMAS OF MATCHBOX DOES IS AWESOME. I WAS VERY DISSAPOINTED IN THE'ROLLING STONE MAG LAST WEEK WHEN I WENT INTO A BOOK STORE, BROWSED THROUGH THEIR LATEST ISSUE. THEY HAD A FEW PAGES ON THE 500 GREATEST ALBUMS OF ALL TIME. I am from Melbourne Australia.Your concert on Friday night was awesome,the best I have ever seen. You guys are just getting better and better. My favorite song is Back 2 Good. It sounds awesome live. Hope to see you in Australia again before too long. Two years was far too long.

Mathcbox 20 is on of the worst bands I have ever heard. Rob Thomas is a horrible songwriter. There is not a single talented muscian in the band. I think if you picked any random burnout pot head, they could write better songs than Matchbox 20.

Best CD and my favorite band. Matchbox Twenty reaches levels that no other band has stepped on. They have something new and not a repeat.

Anyone notice how all the Matchbox 20 haters are mindless, homophobic, hateful, violent people and are hardcore metal fans. While all the Matchbox 20 lovers are pretty decent human beings. Perhaps music does influence behavior and personality. Matchbox 20 are listenable while most metal is ear-bleeding. Their music is positive and talks about meaningful things, while most metal is hate-filled, violent, and talks about empty things like hatred, bigotry, and such. Most is suppossed to be positive, insightful, and inspiring. Not hateful, overly depressing, and sick and sadistic.

I've been a huge fan of Matchbox Twenty since 1996. Now I own both their albums. MB20 has a sound all their own--they haven't gone along with the headbanging scream rap/metal music everyone calls "rock" nowadays. It's not rock, it's what I said it is. MB20 does what they want, and as they say: Cool bands don't sell records.
