I was an Nsync fan from 5th grade to 11th grade when.. well.. when I realized that I was in a brainwashed delusion. I look back at my J.H. years as a mass of tears and loathing when they came to michigan and I missed seeing them. But after that concert (pop odyssey my first concert by the way) I finally got the hint. This is quite possibly the most humorous list of reviews I've ever read. Bizkit fans go out of their way to dis Nsync fans and the band themselves, while BSB followers and Nsyncers curse at each other enough to make a truck-drivers back hairs stand on end. Believe me, some of my friends are so obsessed that they have ruined their REAL relationships with other people. It sickens me that people think that these "boys" are the image of how guys should be. Ssshhhiii:t. Yeah, all guys look like babyfaces, speak elegantly, and wear a million dollar leather getup with a feathered hat. And you'd think with all that money they would at least get haircut and a nicer grill. They got enough money to become a nuclear power for Christ sake! Sensitivity should be natural and shy, not flaunted. They sell records because the company that produces them know how to play to the audiance, nothing more ladies and gentelmen. I would respect them if they were doing it because it was from their heart and not from their wallet. I could go on but do you have all day. I will say one good thing, it is nice that they contribute to charities, whether or not it's because of good will or for good image I dunno (hey, Marilyn Manson does charities too). As a final note, here's something to think about, just how many boy bands are they're, just how many are different, and just how many do you think will keep doing what they do when they hit 60?

I am delighted to find N Sync, one of my favorite rock bands, featured on this site. Not only are they handsome and clean-cut, they can write their own music and sing. In my opinion, Justin and co. are the worthy millenial successors to the Beatles. "Bye Bye Bye" is a brilliant dance tune with cheeky lyrics, and "Digital Getdown" is wonderfully computer literate and cyberpunkish in a "Snow Crash"/"Neuromancer" way. But the most brilliant song of all is the hip-hop fusion classic, "Pop". It offers a unique and almost humorous look at pop culture, and is highly intelligent without being esoteric. In a thousand years, people won't remember Korn. They won't remember system of a down (I refuse to capitalize their name), Mulletalica, or Sh*tknot. But they will remember the true innovators: The Beatles, Pink Floyd, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Jimi Hendrix, King Crimson and of course N SYNC.
