Our lady peace is the best band out there, and they've always been. They keep on making the best music i've ever heard and going to hear. They are the best forever. Their future is bright thats definitely true. Our lady peace forever!

Our Lady Peace is definitely my favourite band. My favourite song is Clumsy, but their best album is probably Spiritual Machines. I also might add that I'm in love with Raine Maida. Haha just kidding. Wait, no I'm not! olp kicks ass.

Before i saw this band, i thought that my boys were going to church. But after seeing them in s.a. sept 19th, the lead singer Steve Nash indeed told the crowd, this isnt church. Nombre...

i recently traveled 2 hours from my hometown in upstate ny to ottowa, canada to see OLP....if i had to choose one word to describe the performance it would have to be "unreal". It was a perfect concert. Finger 11 and the trailor park boys added to the show even more. It was great

Our Lady Peace is the greatest band ever, i also think the band got better with the addition of steve, they are finally going where they want with their music, raine maida is one of the best writers i know of and Spiritual Machines is ONE OF THE GREATEST ALBUMS EVER

I agree with Jim on the matter of Bob Rock. But, I also think it was a mistake to change so much and loose a memeber of the group, Mike Turner. He was a truly alternative guitarist, just listen to any of the older OLP stuff. I still rank OLP as one of my top bands, but Gravity just didn't hit me like songs from Naveed, Clumsy, Happiness..., or Spiritual Machines. Raine still rules the mic(great songwriting skills by the way) and the Duncan/Jeremy bass and rythme team are great so they are still worth listening to

Posted by Angela:
They are very deep and authentic and their music is wonderful and has a great deal of emotion and seems very real....well peace out love, me

Our Lady Peace is one of the greatest bands of the alternative era. From Raine's screching vocals to Mike's brilliant gituar riffs. All their songs are great especially the early years. "Neveed" and "Clumsy" are both classic rock albums

Posted by Jim:
Our Lady Peace is perhaps the greatest, yet under-rated band of our time. Their insightful lyrics maniacal presence collectively renders a sound that is simply unbelievable in terms of its emotional impact. I must say that Gravity is a sellout record, though. I almost cried when I heard it. The music is so simplified--I can tell Bob Rock made them "dumb down" the music so it would appeal to the masses.

Our Lady Peace is as good as it is ever going to get! The way Raine can create such wonderful and insiring lyrics, simply blows me away! his best work I have to say is "innocent" off the newest album "Gravity" I must say I think I'm simply in love with it, as I was with every other cd they have released!

Our Lady Peace is one of the Greatest bands of our time. We live in an era of unoriginal and uninspired music. Our Lady Peace is the exception. They have emotional music with intelligent lyrics. Plus their style changes so drastically from cd to cd. "Naveed" had a hard abrasive attitude to it and "Spiritual Machines" had light melodic tone. Anyone who likes inspired music should give Our Lady Peace a listen.

Posted by Kris:
I would definatly say that Our Lady Peace is the best band out there. I was so optimistic about "Spiritual Machines" there was not possible way I wouldn't like it. It is so different from anything I've ever heard, I'm guessing that's why I like it so much. I recomend this to anyone who loves good rock music, though it's really not for everyone. You'll either love it or hate it.

If you're looking for albums with brilliant lyrics, great music, and one of the most distinct vocals in music, then Our Lady Peace is definitely a band you should check out. Throughout the years, their writing style has changed, from the darker days of Naveed and Clumsy to the lighter sounds of Happiness... and now the alterna-rock of their new album, Spiritual Machines. This album is FANTASTIC, both lyrically and musically. The readings inbetween tracks give this album a certain intelligence over others out there today and are interesting to listen to. OLP is a great band and I urge everyone to check them out (they're also great live, they've put on some of the best shows I've ever seen).

Our Lady Peace is one of our times most creative band. being melodic and free, this band has a great sound. This Alternitive rock band has the most artistic sound I have ever heard. Any one who has not heard them should.

I agree with the fine review posted on this site. These guys may not be groundbreaking in their music style, but they really capture the essence of melodic, edgy rock. the singer sometimes gets annoying, but the great songwriting throughout makes ou forget about his whiney vocals. great album!!

"Spiritual Machines"
The new album from OLP is a perfectly crafted alt/rock album. these guys have honed the art of writing melodic lines, catchy riffs, and interesting lyrics. And on top of that, the album is consistently good from top to bottom. There are no real duds. The only drawback are the little "readings" between the songs. Although, they are interesting, they should have stayed in the book.(this album is based on the Ray kurzweil book "the age spiritual machines") SOrt of like a concept album, but not really. Anyway, I would recommend this album to anyone looking for a great current rock album.
