Posted by Kurt:
Ozzy is the most diverse artists i have ever heard in the Hard/Metal world. When you buy an Ozzy album you don't know what you are going to get. He is like every type of rock all wraped up in to one. That is proof is why he is and always will be the Godfather of Metal

Posted by Darkghost:
Ozzy is hands down the greatest rock 'n' roll musician of all time I mean how did he get these great guitar players for example: Randy Rhoads he was the best that ever lived Jake Lee was good not excellent and the theres Zakk Wylde a very very good guitar player. It seems that all of Ozzy's songs tend to be hits I don't hate any of his songs.

Posted by D-MAN:
Doug UR A FAGGET!! Jake E Lee ( just sounds like nother hair metal guitarist) Well FUK YOU Jake was no doubt Ozzy's best guitarist yeahz rhandy was a god n zakk is well i dunno because i rekon he only soundz good in Ozzmosis & Down to earth His interputation of ne oZzy Song REALLY DOES SUCK theres no emotion in it Crazy train..Mr Crowley Shot in dark Zakk cant pull them off like Jake or Rhandy could Face it Ozzy could do wif some one better fit style more!! fuk Yngwie Malmsteen sounds alot better doing ozzy covers then Zakk does playin for him!!

Don`t get me wrong, OZZY and Balck Sabbath is still greater than this bands....

Posted by Max:
OZZY is the greatest. Thanx to him and the folks he has played with all of us can enjoy METAL!! I also want to point out that Led Zeppelin, Iron Butterfly and Deep Purple had a lot to do to influence our favourite bands: Metallica, Megadeth, Sepultura, Slayer, Pantera, Iron Maiden, Iced Earth, you name it...

Posted by WickedBeauty:
First of all Demonic Device is a TOOL! How can you even put Ozzy in the same category as Sepultura or Metallica...?they were still attached to their mommas t!tty when he was makin' his mark. They looked up to him....not vice versa....

I'm not meaning to offend anybody, but I think Ozzy himself is very overrated. Don't get me wrong, I like a lot of his stuff, mainly the Sabbath days, but what got me was the guitarwork: Iommi, Rhoads, and Wylde are what stands out to me. Jake E. Lee just sounded like any other hairband music in my opinion. Iommi was and still is the main guy in Sabbath. Randy Rhoads was a very talented guitarist and songwriter. Zakk Wylde is probably one of the most unique players of today. Ozzy just never had any impact on me like... say, Iced Earth or Metallica does emotionally. I will say that I respect him a great deal for still kicking a$$ 35 years into his musical career, though, and his voice is very unique and recognizable. Dreamer was kind of "emotional" but I'm sure most people don't like it because it's not metal.(by the way, I'm not some stupid kid who wants to kill myself, I don't listen to Staind or Papa Roach or anything of that sort. If I pi$$ed anybody off I'm sorry it was just my opinion.

ozzy is just great there is just no words to explain it he is the king and he's here to stay

guitar PLAYER in the world

Posted by albert :
hueyTHEhappyHOMo, you are right randy was the best guitar plyer in the wrold next to jimi

Posted by hueyTHEhappyHOMO:
Ozzy is not so bad, but RAndy Rhoads is the fu**ing bada$$ guitarist ever, thats where credit is due. that fool was flipping amazing; listening to his solos is better than screwing that jar of mayonaise. ozzy aint OZZY without randy.

Hey it's me again!! Look I just really want to make it clear how much Ozzy rocks! I mean the prince of darkness himself is awesome... The king of metal!! I mean seriously if you like metal and not ozzy what the h*ll are you on...Sharita give his music a chance I mean there a big assortion of it so like you gotta like at least some of it, I love it all!! It's amazing! And kelly is super cool and she's really good. I love the show, I love the music, I'm a huge fan!! Paranoid rocks, the new stuff rocks!! Ozzy beats all that other sh*t I mean I'm not too fond of that kind of music but ozzy makes me like his stuff!! I mean I love it. He created the genre of metal and made it work, created the evil. and he can still pull off slow songs even though he's the prince of darkness.... He can do anything!!

Posted by What have you been smoking Sharita:
Ozzy is the best ever!!Seriously the dude's amazing!!I mean he's a better father than most of our parents out there, Sabbath rocked (Paranoid the best!!) His new album is way differant than his other stuff but just as f***ing amazing! everything the guy does is amazing! and dont worry ozzy, get older hasnt brought you down but I know stupid people who didnt like ozzy before and now love him so hey youre getting new fans every day YOU ROCK OZZY Kisses

Posted by Anti-sharita:

Posted by Pure Evil :
Three words: OZZY IS GOD

Posted by Easter_Bloodlust:
Well, what can I say? Like many have already pointed out, Ozzy Osbourne rules surpreme among all metal Gods. He is THE heavy metal superstar. His voice is unique, yes trumpet sounding in a way, but it's an interesting voice that captures your attention. Also, Ozzy was the first one to experiment with distorted guitar sounds and really invented the evil, hell raising sound you'll hear in bands like Slayer and Rob Zombie. Long live the Ozz!

Posted by Demonic Device:
All of you people truly have no concept of the words "heavy metal". STINKO, how the flaming f~ck can you say that he doesn't get enough recognition?! The assho|e is a f~cking superstar! Ozzy is a cheap-a$s with a trumpet-sounding voice who gets paid for making broadway musicals out of his crappy concerts on VH1. Why don't some of you cavemen try listening to cool bands like sepultura, or at least metallica?! I gaurantee that it will improve your taste in music!

Posted by HorsemaN:
Stinko, i like your review but ur wrong. he's the one singer every man loves. including my old dad

Posted by HorsemaN:
i agree with you all. including that there would be no metal if he never started black sabbath

Posted by Buckethead:
Around the time that No More Tears was in pre-production, Ozzy Osbourne must have noticed that there was a sudden change in the rock genre — music that he had been placing on his previous '80s albums was growing stale, and the public seemed to show more interest in heavy metal rather than hard rock. With that in mind, Osbourne brought in Motorhead singer Lemmy Kilmister to aid in writing the songs for No More Tears, which contribute to making the album one of his best ever. The record, like 1989's No Rest for the Wicked, uses a heavier, tighter sound when compared to the likes of Diary of a Madman, but at the same time manages to maintain catchy melodies and innovative lyrics. While Ozzy's songwriting has definitely matured a bit through the years (evident through the power ballads "Time After Time" and "Mama, I'm Coming Home"), parents will still find plenty of obnoxious material on this album to complain about ("I Don't Want to Change the World" and "Desire"). No More Tears documents Osbourne's shift into the '90s quite effectively, and proves to be his best studio effort since Blizzard of Ozz.

Casey
Ozzy Osbourne is the best musician to ever grace this earth. Long live the king!

ozzy....awesome!!!

STINKO
Yeah i just wanna ask when you here the words "heavy metal " what bands do you think of? Metallica,PanterA,Anthrax ? Those are all good choices but if you havent been living in a hole for the last 30 years you would know that the real "GOD OF ALL HEAVY METAL " would be the dove decapitation demon himself OZZy OSBOURNE. HE made groundbreaking music with the HEAVY METAL GODs "BLACK SABBATH (OZZY,TONI IOMII,BILL WARD,GEEZER BUTLER). So the next time your listening to your Metallica PanterA or ANTHRAX in your little world of air guitar and head banging stop for a minute and say to yourself "GOD THESE GUYS ARE GOOD I WONDER WHO THEY LOOKED UP TO AND WHO PAVED THE WAY FOR THEM IN THE METAL WORLD?" HHHHHHHMMMMMMMMM could it be OZZY yes it is. HES THE BEST AND HE DOESNT GET ENOUGH CREDIT AND RECOGNITION AS A SINGER AND A SHOWMAN THAT HE DESERVES SO GET YOUR SELF UP AND GO PIK UP SOME OZZY AND SEE WHAT REAL HEAVY METAL IS ALL ABOUT.

ratty
