You are 100% correct ME...REM is without a doubt the greatest band of all time, and they consistently prove this by being a true "album band". With REM, there is no skipping ahead to the good song, the whole album is amazing, always. Simply put, they are a band capable of creating songs that echo almost all genres of music, combined with the best vocals in modern rock. REM are truly the godfathers of the alternative sound. Sadly, there are virtually no posts because in this sad, pathetic day and age, good music is neither cool nor popular, it's all about the image.

I dont believe their is no postings. REM will always be my favourite band of all time. Above mettallica led zepplin acdc and nirvana. Everybody hurts transported me and helped me, losing my religion touched me, bad day was so spot on and drive, try not to breathe nightswimming etc they all ruled and bended music to total new regions. I want rem to be remembered forever because they truly deserve it and this is my lonely as it seems tribute to the rulers of music. peace dudes and thankyou
