Biography
REVISION A is a four-piece modern rock band based out of Biloxi, MS. The group is comprised of Jim Beaugez (Bo-zjay; 21), vocals and guitar; Shannon Seymour (22), vocals and bass; Jason Robbins (22), drums and percussion; and David Seymour (25), vocals and guitar.

The band cites mostly "indie"-rock influences such as Fugazi, Weezer, Pavement, Sebadoh, Sonic Youth, The Lemonheads, Jawbox, and Sunny Day Real Estate; but the REVISION A sound is just as unique and individual as its three songwriter-vocalists are.

The group formed in August of 1995 when David discovered Jim and Jason's ad for a bassist. After one practice session, the three knew they were onto something good. Playing relentlessly around their hometown and slightly beyond, the group quickly became a local favorite.

The name REVISION A came from a naval drafting term used when David was drafting and designing for a company in Moss Point, Ms.

In early 1998, David switched to second guitar and Shannon joined the band as bassist and third vocalist. After a year and a half of being engaged, Shannon and David were married in July of 1998.

The band started their own record label, Outer Space Records, in late November of 1995, and have since released one e.p. and two full length albums. Another full-length release is tentatively scheduled for release in March of 1999, featuring the new band line-up and 15 tracks of brand-new material.

REVISION A is well known for their high-intensity live performances; being well-received by both under age (16-20) and bar age (21+) crowds. To date, the band has played extensively around their tri-state area of Mississippi, Louisiana (New Orleans), and Alabama (Mobile). The summer of 1999 will find the band on a regional tour of southern, southeastern, and eastern states in support of their forthcoming cd.
