Some of the best lyrics ive ever heard. Some of their songs have such force, that u really cant compare these guys to a lot of the Sh*t being played these days. Basically, the only thing people can possibly not like about this band is Billy's voice. Go have a listen to some of their CD's. A great band.

ahhh, the smashing pumpkins...what else is there to say. a totally new outlook on music in general, and everything rock 'n roll ever stood for. billy corgan, the front man, is a dude that stands up to his word, and doesnt shy away from being a freak, and a bit of a sell out, and amditting it...im not saying he is, he just doesnt care if he likes when his albums sell millions of records...wait this is not what i was wanting to talk about... ok what else do you want out of me? smashing pumpkins is awesome, and thats all that needs ever to be discussed about SP.

Its good to hear a singer that doesnt sound like every other singer. he may have a queer voice but when the pumpkins hit the intense instrumental sections (that theyre famous for) it fits right in. fu*king great band.

Just to start out...I HATE THE SMASHING...ha, fooled ya! Just kidding. Actually, the Smashing Pumpkins are easily my favorite band and the most original band I've ever heard(and I listen to alot of weird sh*t) Billy Corgan is such an inspiration to me in my song writing and guitar-playing. I MUST HAVE THE BOX SET!! If I could just find "The Airplane Flies High" and "Pisces Iscariot" I would have them all! Come on Corganites, we can have a longer fan review than THIS! Long live Billy Corgan! Has anyone heard any music from his new band, ZWAN? Please give details. Can't wait to hear it myself. And to Lia, please don't hate Slipknot. When SP broke up, Slipknot was there to soothe my tattered and torn soul. I mean, it really hurt me that such a great band would call it quits. Besides Lia, Slipknot loves your moma. And to the idiot posting as "my dad", I want to rend the flesh from your bones! Your comment made me sick, you ignorant son of a b*tch. To all SP fans, I would like to give you a damn hug!

I just want to say thankyou to sp and esp to Billy for the music they have made. It touched me in a very deep and personal way, but also made me go f**cking mental when i wanted to!! I think Billy is one of the best songwriters, and esp lyricists ever. And if you ever saw them live, then you will also know what a great performer he is! Good to see him back with Zwan so soon.

The Pumpkins are incredible. My favorite is Bullet With Butterfly wings. Everyone plays their part very well and harmony is terrific

I have fallen in love with the Pumpkins since their first album Gish. And I agree that he is the most talented songwriter out there. It's so sad to see them go... their music touched me and really meant a lot to me. It was music that I could relate to. I wish I could've had one more chance to see them. I wish them all the luck in the world! i am hopeful to see future things from Billy and the others!

I think Billy Corgan is the most lyrically talented singer/songwriter out there. You only have to listen to some of the songs on MCandTIS to see and hear what I mean, songs like "here is no why" "muzzle" "thru the eyes of ruby" are some of the least known but the best, I think, the lyrics are really deep, and none of it's bullsh it either (yes, I'm talking to you, slipknot...die motherfu ckers)

Nothing ever beats the real thing when it comes to music. The Smashing Pumpkins were the best band that I ever saw live, and I wish them all a safe journey through the rest of their musical careers.
