Easily the greatest band ever, every cd they have released has been consistently good and the fact that they are willing to experiment with there sound makes it impossible for them to get old and stale (unlike other bands like AC/DC who sound as if they have been putting out the same album for over 20 years now! They are also amazing live which shows they are not just a studio band like so many acts now a days. If you are unfamiliar with their work Joshua Tree and Actung Baby are easily their 2 best releases but you could pick up anyone of their albums and be happy with them, and their 2 greatest hits releases are simply amazing! Hat's off to a band that doesn't use past success to keep them going, U2 are truely gifted songwriters and musicians!

I'm 33 and U2 have been my favourite band ever since 1981. They seem to be breeingig us their best these days. I proud that I can say that I'm a fan to such a band.

One of my favorite bands for YEARS, I now hate U2. They have gone against everything they once represented, and compromised all of their earlier, and GOOD material. The latest U2 record, although pleasing to the masses, is a FAR cry from their real albums, and is essentially a euro-trash piece of crap. From the poorly sampled and looped synth drums, to the uninspiring lyrical content, "all that you can't leave behind" is certainly one that I'll be trying to forget for years to come.
