| DAVID
VICTOR is a veteran San Francisco bay-area musician with extensive recording,
producing and performance experience. David's most recent project was VELOCITY's
debut CD "IMPACT" which he produced from January to October, 1997. Other
studio work in 1991 resulted in the debut solo album "PROOF THROUGH THE
NIGHT", which received solid reviews, and sold through a nationwide mail-order
campaign. Live work with VELOCITY has been supplemented by stints with
ST. LAURENT, VICTOR, DICK BRIGHT'S SRO, SECRETS and ALLEY OPERA. David
has also done studio work with Brad Gillis and Jesse Bradman of NIGHT RANGER,
and guitarist extrordinaire Ronnie Montrose.
21-year-old
wonderkind guitarist and JOE SATRIANI protege' CHRIS DODGE, originally
from Pinole, CA, was most recently fronting his own instrumental power-trio
CLOUD NINE, touring throughout California. Some of Chris' music has been
heard on FOX's "NFL SUNDAY", NBC's "FRIENDS" and UPN's "SABRINA THE TEENAGE
WITCH". Chris' fluid chops began developing at the unbelievably young age
of seven, and his talents have been used to shame older players while demoing
amplifiers at several NAMM shows. Chris has also studied with fret wizard
ALEX SKOLNIK and has been teaching guitar since the age of twelve.
The
heartbeat of VELOCITY is drummer BOB GAUT who hails from Oakland, California.
Bob has been playing professionally for over ten years in such bands as
EQUINOX, THE KYND and SLINGS AND ARROWS. Bob was also a founding member
of Bay Area alt-rockers NINEMILE WOLVES. A fortuitous post on the internet
resulted in a demo exchange with David Victor, and the connection was made.
"As soon as I heard the bands demo, I knew it was something I wanted to
be a part of. I had been away from playing this kind of music for a few
years, but I was eager to contribute my style to it" says Bob. |
