American Idol Killed
AP reports: Authorities say a 25-year-old former two-time "American Idol" contestant has been struck and killed by a car in a New Jersey shore town.

The Asbury Park Press reports that Alexis Cohen, of Allentown, Pa., was killed early Saturday in Seaside Heights.

Deputy Chief Michael Mohel of the Ocean County Prosecutors Office says an autopsy indicated she suffered chest, head and abdominal injuries. -

Megan Fox Gets Naked
Hecklerspray reports: Teenage boys, we have some good news for you - your wildest dreams are just about to come true. Not that one. Not the dream where your face stops being covered in an inch-thick layer of bumfluff that makes you look like some sort of disgusting gawky monkey hybrid - the dream where you get to see Megan Fox naked. The red band trailer for Megan Fox's new movie Jennifer's Body has hit the internet.

And you know what red band means - gratuitous Megan Fox nudity. Or it means you briefly see the side of her boob and she swears once. It's a secret.

If Megan Fox is going to be taken seriously as an actress rather than a piece of tabloid fodder who looks like a vinyl Angelina Jolie sex doll, then it's time for her to start branching out. Luckily, that's exactly what her new movie Jennifer's Body allows her to do. - watch it here since no one went to see the movie

Paula Leaving Idol
AP reports: Paula Abdul's new manager says she may not be returning to "American Idol."

According to a Los Angeles Times report, David Sonenberg says he doesn't have a proposal for a new contract for Abdul.

He says it doesn't appear she'll be back. Sonenberg began representing Abdul a few weeks ago.

Auditions for the ninth season of the highly rated Fox talent competition begin next month -

Doc Overdosed Michael Jackson
AP reports: Michael Jackson's personal doctor administered a powerful anesthetic to help him sleep, and authorities believe the drug killed the pop singer, a law enforcement official told The Associated Press on Monday.

The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the investigation is ongoing, also provided a glimpse inside Jackson's rented mansion, describing the room Jackson slept in as outfitted with oxygen tanks and an IV drip. Another of his bedrooms was a shambles, with clothes and other items strewn about and handwritten notes stuck on the walls. One read: "children are sweet and innocent."

The official said Jackson regularly received propofol to sleep, relying on the drug like an alarm clock. A doctor would administer it when he went to sleep, then stop the intravenous drip when he wanted to wake up. On June 25, the day Jackson died, Dr. Conrad Murray gave him the drug through an IV sometime after midnight, the official said. -

Kelly Clarkson Songwriter Denies Beyonce Song Ripoff
(Jam!) Songwriter/producer Ryan Tedder has fired back at Kelly Clarkson over claims he duped the singer into reworking and "ripping off" Beyonce's hit Halo. The Since U Been Gone hitmaker claims Tedder sent her the song that became Halo without telling her he'd already offered it to Beyonce.

In an interview with a Canadian radio station earlier this week, upset Clarkson said, "No one's gonna be sitting at home, thinking, 'Man, Ryan Tedder gave Beyonce and Kelly the same track to write to.' No, they're just gonna be saying I ripped someone off. I called Ryan and said 'I don't understand. Why would you do that?'"

And now Tedder, who co-wrote Leona Lewis' megahit Bleeding Love, is breaking his silence over the controversy, admitting the American Idol winner's comments are "hurtful and absurd". He said, "They are two entirely different songs conceptually, melodically and lyrically and I would never try to dupe an artist such as Kelly Clarkson or Beyonce into recording over the same musical track. The idea is both hurtful and absurd." - more on this story

Vanessa Hudgens Gets Naked For New Film
Hecklerspray reports: Vanessa Hudgens isn't an actual whore, and that she's only going to be playing one in a film - which sort of spoils the fun if you ask us - but, hey, at least this means you'll finally get to see what Vanessa Hudgens looks like naked. Pardon? You've already seen Vanessa Hudgens naked? Everyone has? OH FINE THEN.

Since High School Musical 3 wrapped, Vanessa Hudgens has been desperate to appeal to a more adult audience. And that seems to be exactly what she'll do with her new movie Sucker Punch. Admittedly Vanessa Hudgens is trying to appeal to a very specific adult audience - the sort of adult audience that cuts holes in its trouser pockets so that it can masturbate discreetly at the cinema, the sort of adult audience that only became a removal man so that it could steal women's underwear when nobody was looking - because she'll be playing a naked prostitute. But a girl's got to start somewhere.

The LA Times reports: "I'm playing a character named Blondie, and it's set in a brothel in the 1950s, so there's not a whole lot of clothes!… I think this is my time to really step it up and get to grow up." She talks about her role as a sexy woman "strutting her stuff" … and she does things "I would never have imagined doing." - more on this story

Jonas Brother Battles Diabetes
Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers has lent his star power to the Washington Nationals to raise awareness of diabetes and support the creation of a new Pediatric Diabetes Care Complex at Children's National Medical Center in the nation's capital.

In a new PSA aired at the Washington Nationals game July 5, 16-year-old Jonas, who has Type 1 diabetes, encouraged fans to "text to give" to support children with diabetes. For each person who texts the word "NATS" to 90999, a $5 donation to Children's National Medical Center is billed to the donor's phone bill. The PSA appears on the Children's National website here.

Approximately 20 million Americans, including a growing number of children, have been diagnosed with diabetes. Children with diabetes, if it is not managed appropriately, are at risk of developing serious health complications, such as heart disease, kidney disease, blindness, stroke, and loss of circulation resulting in amputation of limbs. There is no cure for diabetes; it is a 24-hour-a-day disease requiring intervention, monitoring, and balancing food choices to maintain a child's health. - more on this story

Lily Allen Defends Nude Photos
Jam! reports: Pop star Lily Allen has defended her decision to pose topless for a new magazine photo shoot after she was criticized for the saucy snaps online.

The Smile hitmaker can be seen baring her breasts for the latest edition of design publication i-D in a series of revealing pictures.

The daring images attracted some snide comments from outspoken [celebutard yapper] Perez Hilton, who was engaged in a bitter war of words with Allen earlier this year. And she couldn't resist poking fun at Hilton's figure as she replied to his comments. - Read both here

A Wealth of Unreleased Michael Jackson Recordings Coming / Feds Join Investigation Into Jackson's Death
Two actual newsworthy Michael Jackson reports from Billboard today (aside from a story about the Pew Poll results, which found that his death was WAY over covered). First off it looks like the Feds are going to get involved in the investigation into Jackson's death. And secondly, Tupac will finally get some competition for posthumous music releases. more

Story 1: Following Jackson's death, allegations emerged that the 50-year-old King of Pop had been consuming painkillers, sedatives and antidepressants. The DEA was asked to help the probe by the Los Angeles Police Department, a law enforcement official in Washington told the Associated Press on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the investigation - more on this story
