Scissor Sisters and Kelis To Play Isle of MTV
MTV Networks International today announced that Scissor Sisters and Kelis will perform at the Isle of MTV live music event in Malta on 30 June.

MTV and the Malta Tourism Authority are gearing up to rock Malta once more in what has become one of the highlights of the European summer music scene. Now in its fourth year, the largest open air free concert in Europe has anchored itself firmly on the summer party circuit attracting fans from all over Europe to the sun kissed island's dramatic Il-Fosos Square in Floriana to enjoy some of the best current artists.

"Scissor Sisters and Kelis are set to rock Malta this summer," said Bruce Gillmer, EVP of Talent and Music for MTVNI. "The Isle of MTV Malta Special has become one of MTV's coolest and most eclectic outdoor events. CMA Music Festival Adds New Acts
It was announced today that additional artists were added to 2010 CMA Music Festival, held Thursday-Sunday, June 10-13, in downtown Nashville.

Singer and former "Dancing with the Stars" dancer Julianne Hough has been added to the artist lineup for the Nightly Concerts at LP Field on Friday, June 11. Hough made her CMA Music Festival debut in 2008 when she performed a duet with Josh Turner at LP Field. Artists already announced for the Nightly Concerts include Trace Adkins, Jason Aldean, Easton Corbin, Billy Currington, Danny Gokey, Randy Houser, Alan Jackson, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride, Reba McEntire, Tim McGraw, Justin Moore, Brad Paisley, Kellie Pickler, Rascal Flatts, Darius Rucker, Blake Shelton, Josh Turner, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, and Zac Brown Band.

The daily concerts on the Riverfront Park Stage are one of the most popular events at CMA Music Festival, and this year's artist lineup is guaranteed to thrill the fans and continue that tradition. As previously announced, The Judds (Naomi and Wynonna Judd) will unite to give the Festival's kick off performance on the Riverfront Park Stage on Thursday, June 10 at 10:00 AM. The Baked Potato's 40th Anniversary Jazz Festival
The world-famous The Baked Potato Jazz Club, a Los Angeles music institution, is celebrating its 40th Anniversary with an epic, one-of-a-kind jazz festival featuring some of the world's greatest musicians on Saturday, May 22 and Sunday, May 23, 2010 at the magical Anson Ford Amphitheater.

The festival will showcase many of the bands and artists that got their start at The Baked Potato. Vrykolakas: The Unholy Comic Release Party
Royal Flush Magazine and Midnight Dreams Productions have joined forces for a massive special event combining music, comics and art May 15 at Public Assembly, 70 North 6th Street in Brooklyn's Williamsburg neighborhood.

The evening will celebrate the release of New York based musician/filmmaker Alex Dementia's new comic Vrykolakas: The Unholy and feature performances by Dementia's own The Resurrection Sorrow, Panzie, The Bambi Killers and DJ Jenn City, highlighted by the reunion of the mighty '80s mock glam metal band Satanicide.

Woodhands Remixcapade for Free
Following hot on the heels of their latest release, Remorsecapade, and a touring schedule that has already taken them across Canada, the US and back, Toronto's Woodhands are unleashing a free EP highlighting a handful of the remixes that the album has inspired.

Katzenjammer To Le Pop in June
Norwegian all-female foursome Katzenjammer are set to release their debut album Le Pop, June 29 on Nettwerk Records. The quartet first stormed the States with their circus of a live show in Austin at SXSW last year.

Their raucous sets include a rotation of up to 29 instruments on which that the four women are self-taught, including the tuba, the balalaika bass, drums, harmonica, piano, banjo, accordion, mandolin, guitar, melodica and trumpet. Katzenjammer also caught the attention of David Byrne, who invited them to open his artist-curated stage at 2009's Bonnaroo, alongside Santigold, the Dirty Projectors, Dave Byrne and Brian Eno, later ending their US run with a stop at Summerfest opening for Elvis Costello.

Le Pop, which was produced by Kεre Westrheim and Mike Hartung (Marit Larsen, Superfamily), showcases the ladies eclectic blend of genre influences. The album earned Katzenjammer a nomination for "Newcomer of the Year" at the Norwegian Grammy Awards, but also the distinct honor of opening the show with their hit single "A Bar In Amsterdam."
