Eminem Scores Biggest Selling Album of 2010
iTunes announced yesterday that Eminem's Recovery was as the best-selling album of the year in their Rewind 2010 roundup.

Eminem's sixth consecutive #1 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart, debuting at the top spot and racking up seven weeks at #1, Recovery has sold more than 5,600,000 copies worldwide.

The album also debuted at #1 on both the Rap and R&B/Hip-hop charts. In addition, Recovery nabbed the #1 slot around the globe, from Australia and Austria to Greece, Canada and the U.K. Eminem has sold more than 85,000,000 albums worldwide to date. - more on this story

Dr. Dre Releasing New Video Today Featuring Snoop Dogg and Akon
Dr. Dre is releasing the video for "Kush," the first single from his forthcoming album Detox featuring Snoop Dogg and Akon. The clip will premiere today (Friday, December 10) on Vevo.com.

About the track "Kush," which is available now, Dre says, "It's a fun song, it's hot and people seem to be loving it and that's an exciting thing because I know if people are loving this song they're going to really get into the record because this is just the tip of the iceberg."

Madonna Opening Fitness Center in Moscow
Madonna has announced the opening of the second Hard Candy Fitness Center in Moscow which is projected to open in mid-March 2011.

The new facility will be a beautifully designed and unique 35,000 square foot space located near Red Square.

Train's Hey, Soul Sister Biggest-Selling Song Of 2010
Train's "Hey, Soul Sister" was the biggest-selling song on the iTunes Store this year. The worldwide smash was named top song in iTunes' "Rewind 2010" year-end roundup.

"Hey, Soul Sister" has reached #1 at radio in the US and in 15 countries abroad as well. "Hey, Soul Sister" was the first single from the band's gold release Save Me, San Francisco.

Earlier this month, the band earned a Grammy nomination with "Hey, Soul Sister," for Best Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals. The Awards will be given out in on Sunday, February 13th at 8pm on CBS. They earned two Grammy Awards in 2001 for their song "Drops of Jupiter (Tell Me)." - more on this story

BBC News reports that Lady Antebellum picked up four awards including single of the year for "Need You Now".

The American Country Music Awards differ from other country music award extravaganzas in that winners were decided by online voting. Susan Boyle Back On Top
Susan Boyle is back on top. Her latest album The Gift, the fastest-selling holiday album in history, has returned to the Number 1 spot on the Billboard 200.

The Gift originally debuted at Number 1 on the Billboard 200 immediately following its domestic release on November 9, retaining its position the following week.

LCD Soundsystem Beat Arcade Fire and Kanye West For Album of the Year Honors
LCD Soundsystem's "This is Happening" has been named the top album of the year by the Rhapsody music service.

It was a tight race between "This is Happening" and The National's celebrated "High Violet," which bested third-place contender, "The Suburbs" by Arcade Fire. Other artists on the list include Broken Bells, Janelle Monae, The Black Keys, Robyn, Gorillaz, Kanye West and Vampire Weekend.
