Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato Announced For The Arthur Ashe Kids' Day

Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato will hold court with tennis stars Rafael Nadal, Andy Roddick, Kim Clijsters and Novak Djokovic at the 15th Annual Arthur Ashe Kids' Day on Saturday, August 28 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, N.Y., from 9:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Hosted by Adrienne Bailon and Quddus, the show will feature special celebrity guests including Nick Cannon. The popular full-day tennis and music festival for children and families – including interactive games, musical entertainment and tennis clinics – will also feature performances from Allstar Weekend and School Gyrls. More musical acts and tennis stars will be announced in coming weeks. Arthur Ashe Kids' Day will kick off the 2010 US Open, which runs from August 30 - September 12.

From 9:30 a.m. - 1 p.m., kids and their families can experience an exciting schedule of free tennis games, live music and attractions taking place throughout the grounds of the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. Inside Arthur Ashe Stadium from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m., the live tennis and music show will feature fun exhibition matches and skills competitions with Rafael Nadal, Andy Roddick, Kim Clijsters, Novak Djokovic, and other top players and celebrities with musical performances by the Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato and more. In celebration of the 15th anniversary of Arthur Ashe Kids' Day, the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato are the first artists to reprise their performances at the event, having appeared in 2007 and 2008 respectively, with the Jonas Brothers having made their debut here in 2005 on the Get Pumped Up stage. - more on this story

Superfest Returns

Superfest, the popular Soul and R&B concert series, returns after over a decade with an 18th city tour that kicks off on August 15th.

During its more than two decade run – 1979 through 1999 – the Superfest featured some of the brightest stars, including headliners such as Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, TLC, Parliament, Luther Vandross and many other musical legends.

The 2010 tour will feature an all-star lineup of today's R&B favorites including Anthony Hamilton, Kem, Jaheim, Raheem DeVaughn, Abraham McDonald and Hal Linton, with more to be announced. - more on this story

Singled Out: Stephen Jerzak's She Said (featuring Leighton Meester)

Welcome to Singled Out! where we ask artists to tell us the inside story of their latest single. Today Stephen Jerzak tells us about his new single "She Said" featuring Leighton Meester, which is being released today. We now turn it over to for the story:

My music has always been super acoustic-driven. When I went to California to record my 3rd EP, "Smile, Happy Looks Good on You", my producer, Ian Kirkpatrick, showed me a beat and vocal idea he had started writing. It was very different from all of my previously released music, but it had such a good vibe that we decided to finish writing it together. It was fun and easy to write to, and we finished and tracked a demo of the song in a matter of days. This all happened last September, and from that point on, the release of the "She Said" (originally titled "Looker") has been a really exciting thing to look forward to.

The song is basically about a girl who's looking for some love in the wrong place. Leighton Meester features as the female vocalist in the song. The lyrics in the chorus summarize the story of a girl (Leighton) who would say anything for the attention, and a guy (me) who's looking out for himself and not falling into any traps.

"She Said" is a big step further into the fun, dance-y sound that I've always wanted to achieve. So when you hear it, remember to party :)

League510 Celebrate Summer Time

League510's new track, "Summer Time," featuring Way D is a nostalgic tribute to the vacation months that, as the group puts it, "reflects summer time and all its splendor."

New Music Seminar Opening Night Party

New Music Seminar has announced the details and guests for the NMS Opening Night Party at Webster Hall in New York City on Monday, July 19th, 2010.

Dean & Britta will release a special, limited edition double CD, 13 Most Beautiful: Songs for Andy Warhol's Screen, on July 27th.

Originally commissioned by the Andy Warhol Museum and Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, the project began as a live multimedia show featuring Dean & Britta performing original material in front of 13 shorts selected from Andy Warhol's Screen Tests collection.

In support of the project, Dean & Britta will continue touring throughout 2010. Philadelphia International Records plan to have a worldwide 40th anniversary celebration next year, but they are starting the party early with the Grand Opening this weekend of The TSOP Experience, an intimate new nightspot for showcasing and celebrating the legendary "Sound of Philadelphia" – past, present and future – in a live setting along the Avenue of the Arts.
