Marc Mysterio Caught in The G20 Riots
We have a follow-up to yesterday's story about Marc Mysterio. Apparently Marc was undaunted by losing Canadian Top Model Kirsten Comerford for his video shoot (due to the riots in Toronto) and went ahead with it anyway. But he himself got to see the riots up-close and in-person as a result.

"We were just driving down the street, and a riot between cops and protesters had broken out in the street in front of us as we traveled between locations - the cops even banged on our hood with their baton threatening us even though we were boxed in by traffic - a frightening situation, to say the least" said Marc Mysterio in a statement.

"What is the real purpose of this summit? Why could it not be effectuated over Skype? It just seems very capricious and indifferent to not only hold this in the 3rd largest market in North America, but also to fence in the downtown-core, post-apocalyptic style - did they not realize that this will inflict major trauma upon the citizens of our city? Honestly, I feel traumatized and I'm sure the cops do as well and, moreover, after the G20 is over, I hope these tensions will not linger." -

Trane's career was marked by various shifts in style throughout the '50s and '60s, "but if you like straight-ahead, yet inventive, hard-bop playing, then this collection of recordings from the mid- to late '50s is definitely one of the sweet spots," says Nick Phillips, Concord Music Group's Vice President of Jazz and Catalog A&R and the producer of the Definitive series. Bradley Hathaway Delivers A Thousand Angry Panthers
Bradley Hathaway has released a new four song digital EP called A Thousand Angry Panthers.

The EP is a quick emotional glimpse into the recent life of Hathaway. Loss, love, searching and faith intertwine themselves throughout Panthers all the while we enjoy the soft twang of Hathaway's contagious voice.

We live in a world that is suffering from the epidemic of distraction. Constantly we are being beckoned to have our attention and thoughts pulled away from that which is pivotal to life, existence, and eternity. Inevitably we enter a sort of drowsiness, brought on by the barrage of necessity and amusements around us, all of which slowly chip away at our passions, our consciences, and ultimately, our souls.

Frank Nitt's L.O.V.E.
(audible treats) In a climate where many hip-hop songs take their listeners on dark journeys through street life, or playful romps through many of life's vices it's refreshing to hear an emcee brush his bravado to the side.

Frank Nitt half of the celebrated duo Frank 'n Dank does just that with "L.O.V.E.". Frank tackles the subject matter with an honesty and directness that nearly betrays the feel-good subject matter the Detroit emcee typically brings to his listeners.

Nitt assembled an incredible cast to help bring his amorous creation to life. The track was produced by Terrace Martin and features both legendary West Coast rapper and producer DJ Quik and crooner J. Black. "He didn't write anything down. He just went in and killed it, " Frank said of his experience with DJ Quik in the studio. - more on this story
