Jermaine To Tribute His Brother Michael Jackson in Concert
Jermaine Jackson's upcoming Las Vegas concert is set to include a special dedication to the Jackson 5 and Jermaine's brother Michael Jackson. Here is the announcement:

Jermaine Jackson, founding member of the Jackson 5 and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, performs in concert October 2, 2010, at 8 p.m. in Las Vegas at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino's Theatre of Performing Arts.

Celebrating 40 years as a recording artist, Jackson will perform his fans' favorite songs and present a loving tribute in song to his brother Michael, the Jackson 5 and the Jackson family. - more on this story

Michael Buble Goes Hollywood
Michael Buble is going Hollywood. Reprise Records confirmed the release yesterday (September 7th) of "Hollywood," the Canadian superstar's new single which follows up his previous No. 1 single, "Haven't Met You Yet."

"Hollywood" was co-written by Bublι and will have an accompanying video that will be released later this month with Bublι portraying a number of different celebrities. The label will also be releasing the deluxe "Crazy Love Hollywood Edition" on October 25th.

Bublι's sold out "Crazy Love Tour," whose national promoter is Beaver Productions, has added 14 more shows beginning November 23rd in Hershey, Pennsylvania. (Tour dates are listed at end of release) New dates include a return visit to Madison Square Garden in NYC on November 28th and will finish up at LA's Staples Center on December 13th.

Activision has released demos for the upcoming DJ Hero 2 and Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock as free downloads on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace (as the name implies, these are for use with the Xbox).

In the DJ Hero 2 demo, fans will get a taste of four exclusive mixes from the best soundtrack in entertainment as they freestyle scratch, sample and crossfade through various gameplay tutorials, QuickPlay and all-new multiplayer modes including Accumulator and DJ Battle. John Legend Surprise Lobby Gig
John Legend surprised New Yorkers passing through Grand Central Terminal yesterday when he gave an exclusive performance inside a replica of the new Courtyard by Marriott lobby.

The singer/songwriter's performance kicked off a two month long initiative designed to bring the new lobby concept to more travelers across the U.S. The ubiquitous brand is unveiling "lobby zones" just like the one in Grand Central in three major U.S. airports in Atlanta, Chicago and Denver on September 15.

Legend played one set, including "Wake Up Everybody" and "Ordinary People" inside the famed train station's Vanderbilt Hall. As the crowd swelled, excited fans snapped photos on their cell phones, sharing the experience with their friends on social networks. - more on this story

Blind Boys of Alabama Lineup Great Festival Gig
This weekend, Blind Boys of Alabama will bring their soulful mix of gospel and blues to the Orange County Great Park, as part of the Flights and Sounds Summer Festival.

The weekend of Americana music kicks off Friday with locals Big Sandy and His Fly-Rite Boys as they rock the Park with some good 'ol country, R&B and rockabilly. Sandy has appeared on Late Night with Conan O'Brien and at the Grand Ole Opry, and this Friday September 10th, they'll be under the stars at the Great Park. Get there at 7:30 p.m. to learn the two-step with dance instructors ready to get you moving.

On Saturday, September 11th, the Great Park is honored to present the six time Grammy Award Winning Blind Boys of Alabama featuring gospel, blues, soul and funk music. Billy Currington Goes No 1 Again
Billy Currington scores his fourth consecutive no. 1 single, sixth overall with his latest "Pretty Good At Drinkin' Beer."

Pat Metheny's Orchestrion Tour This Fall
Pat Metheny will bring his Orchestrion Tour to another 19 North American performance halls beginning October 1.

The tour is support of the Orchestrion album, which came out in January on Nonesuch Records.

Orchestrion brings a musical idea from the late 19th and early 20th centuries—a large mechanical multi-instrument device that utilizes actual orchestral instruments of various types, called an "orchestrion"—to the technologies of today. - more on this story
