(Yahoo) George Michael is facing a fine or jail time after he admitted driving while under the influence of drugs when he is sentenced on Tuesday. The singer pleaded guilty last month to driving under the influence and possession of cannabis following an incident on July 4 more

(ASB) Producer Sean Garrett who told E! Online that he is back working with Britney Spears. "I'm going into the studio with her," Sean said during MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, September 12. "I love Britney. I want to help her grow. I want to do stuff that's going to be able to travel around the world." more

Garth Brooks Inspires New Movie
Lifetime Television have announced plans to make an original movie based on Garth Brooks' hit song "Unanswered Prayers."

The film, which will premiere in November, explores the themes of marriage, family, community and second chances with love, asking "Did I let the one I loved get away or is she right in front of me?"

This is the story of a happily married father (Eric Close) living the American dream. When the woman (Madchen Amick) of his high school fantasies returns home, he has to face his past and will be presented with a choice that could change his future forever. Samantha Mathis will portray his wife. Produced by Sony Pictures Television, the film will shoot in the Richmond, Virginia, area. - more on this story

Josh Groban Returns with Hidden Away
Josh Groban's new single "Hidden Away," hits digital retailers today and was released to radio yesterday.

Fat Beats Announce Big Farewell Week of Special Guests in L.A.
Following the recent close of their New York location and a successful string of in-store performances from such artists as Just Blaze, DJ A-Trak, Pete Rock, and DJ Premier, Fat Beats is planning a week long series of in-store performances and music industry panels for to close out the Los Angeles location.

These in-stores will provide an opportunity for fans to celebrate the legacy of one of the strongest music brands in the company of their favorite artists, while learning about the history of Fat Beats and what the future holds for the music industry. Everyone is welcome to come and all events are free.

Today marks the official start of the week and a half long in-store series for the Los Angeles location. This location will host artist performances every day starting this weekend until it closes its doors for the final time on Saturday, September 18th, 2010. Chicago Guitar Festival Lineup Announced
The lineup for the Chicago Guitar Festival has been announced. Here is the announcement: Chicago Guitar Festival is a weeklong event bringing renowned classical and jazz guitarists from around the world to venues across Chicago, from Thursday October 7th through Thursday, October 14h.

Featuring performances by artists as diverse as Pat Martino, Paul Galbraith and Badi Assad, the Festival was conceived by Chicagoans (and accomplished guitarists themselves) Andreas Kapsalis and Goran Ivanovic, who aim to enrich the pallet of the area's listening audiences.

"Some of the artists participating in the Festival are internationally-renowned, but little known in the States. Goran and I were interested in changing that and decided to start by presenting the Festival in the city we both love. We hope to help bring these artists some well-deserved attention here and across the country," said Kapsalis, a self-taught guitarist who is also a talented film score composer. - more on this story

Billy Currington's New Album Coming Next Week
Billy Currington fourth album is set for release next Tuesday (September 21). The album is entitled Enjoy Yourself, and includes the crooner's sixth #1 smash hit "Pretty Good At Drinkin' Beer" written by Troy Jones.
