Stephen Kijak who directed the the Rolling Stones documentary "Stones in Exile" will be leading the film project.

Flo Rida Wants To Team Up With Paul McCartney
(Stereotude ) Flo Rida has collaborated with a wide array of artists from the hip-hop and pop music spectrums, but never before would we expect his dream collaboration to be with a Beatle. But that's exactly what he told us.

During OK! Magazine's pre-Grammy party, we caught up with the Florida rapper when this bombshell of insider info was dropped on us.

"...Recently, I got a chance to work out at the gym with Paul McCartney during Super Bowl," he told Stereotude. "I was shocked. He actually came to my concert as well. So that was something big."

While the idea of what that collaboration would actually sound like if, in fact, it happened is staggering, the artist's other dream teammates are a little more reasonable.

"I'm a big fan of Beyonce," he says. "I went on tour with her. Outkast, I'm a big fan of those guys." more on this story

Grammys Avoid Controversy With Skrillex Win
(Radio.com) A collective sigh of relief could be felt from the Electronic Dance Music community as Skrillex took home the Grammy for Best Dance Recording for "Bangarang" featuring fellow Los Angeleno, Sirah. EDM fans hoped the award would not go to newcomer Al Walser.

When Grammy nominations were announced last December, dance music fans, artists and experts found an unfamiliar name competing in the Best Dance Recording category.

Who is Al Walser and how did the relatively unknown producer from Liechtenstein get nominated up against hit machines like Skrillex, Calvin Harris, Avicii and Swedish House Mafia? The four platinum-selling acts had packed stadiums in 2012 while Walser had posted a low-budget video for "I Can't Live Without You," which displayed a scant 7,000 views at the time of his nomination.

Talk of conspiracy quickly ensued. After some fancy footwork by Phillip Sherburne, Spin's dance music expert, it was uncovered that Walser, although unknown in the U.S., had a history in the music industry. more on this story

Elton John, Zac Brown Mumford & Sons Singer Tribute Levon Helm
(Radio.com) The Grammys paid tribute to the late Band drummer/singer Levon Helm with a moving all-star tribute. A supergroup, featuring musical director/guitarist and 12-time GRAMMY winner T-Bone Burnett, took to the stage to the instantly recognizable chords of The Band's classic "The Weight."

Elton John, from behind the piano, said "We also remember the teachers and students of sandy hook elementary school, whose song ended way too soon." Zac Brown, who has certainly been influenced by the cross-pollination of country, folk and rock and roll that The Band spearheaded in the late '60s, sang the first verse.

Two artists who have worn their Band influence on their collective sleeves, Mumford & Sons and Alabama Shakes singer Brittany Howard took two verses.

Finally, Elton John – who named one of his classic singles ("Levon") and his son (Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John) – after Levon Helm finished the song. more on this story

The four bandmates (Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman, Jimi Westbrook, and Phillip Sweet) all appeared in person, waving and smiling broadly as they walked down the aisle to the stage.

Carrie Underwood's Fashion Statement Her Biggest Hit At Grammys
(Radio.com) "This past year I've had the pleasure of being on the road with one of the greatest voices in the world period," Hunter Hayes said as he introduced six-time Grammy Award winner Carrie Underwood.

Underwood soon appeared on the GRAMMY stage in a gorgeous grey ball-gown, singing right underneath a chandelier and alongside two guitarists. She then showcased her impressive vocals on the slowed, stripped down "Blown Away." She ended the track with powerful belts before the curtain opened to display the rest of her backing band.

As she began her new single "Two Black Cadillacs" it wasn't her voice that had everyone glued to her performance but her glowing dress. As blue designs engulfed her torso, new images began to appear. Butterflies and flower pedals were soon projected onto her dress, telling a somewhat interesting albeit twisted tale to the somber song. more on this story

The Lumineers Make Grammy Debut
(Radio.com) Nominated for Best New Artist and Best Americana Album, this was the first time the Denver, CO threesome The Lumineers have graced the stage at the Grammys. Along with Mumford & Sons, The Lumineers are seen as the leaders in the folk-rock revival, having sold more than half a million copies of their self-titled debut album.

Accompanied by two additional full-time members, Stelth Ulvang on piano and Ben Wahamaki on bass, the band performed a spirited version of "Ho Hey," the band's double-platinum single. As the five bandmates stood on a stage as bare as their music, Melissa Ethridge and Taylor Swift belted out the chorus from the front row of the audience.

Speaking before Bonnie Raitt took the Best Americana Album Grammy and fun., who stole Best New Artist, the band joked about their chances of winning. "We have no shot. We're smoked," joked drummer Jeremiah Fraites. "fun. has an eighth of a billion views on YouTube so they'll probably win."

"I'm glad there's a space for a band like us because maybe a couple of years ago there might not have been," added Schultz. more on this story

(Radio.com) Elton John and Ed Sheeran went back to basics for their performance at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards.

The British-duo performed in the round an acoustic version of Sheeran's Grammy nominated song "The A Team" with John on piano and Sheeran playing his signature acoustic guitar.

It was because of John that Sheeran came to grace the GRAMMY stage tonight for their flawless performance. It meant so much to the younger Englishman, he even confessed to having nightmares in the days leading up to the show that the performance would go wrong. more on this story

(Radio.com) One of many country performers at this year's 55th Annual Grammy Awards, Miranda Lambert and Dierks Bentley joined forces for an emotional duet.

Lambert, dressed in a glistening sequined dress, began her performance alone. Singing her hit "Over You" co-written by herself and husband Blake Shelton about the loss of his brother, Lambert made the song her own on the Grammy stage.

Bonnie Raitt Wins 10th Grammy
(Radio.com) Bonnie Raitt had nine Grammys before this week's ceremony, and just won her tenth – and first since 1996 – taking the Best Americana Album, in a very strong category.

She won against her all-male and all-contemporary competition of Mumford & Sons, the Lumineers and the Avett Brothers). She saluted her fellow nominees in the category.

"I have enough, thank you though!" she exclaimed. "This is the same face I was wearing that other time." A consummate musician, she also said, "Give it up for the band!" referring to the house band who performs through the four hour ceremony (which streams on the official GRAMMY website).

"Thank yo u so much to all the musicians, songwriters and [producer] Joe Henry. My parents for giving me the gene pool that allows me to be up here," referencing her father, Broadway star John Raitt, and her mother, a pianist Marjorie Haydock. more on this story

Kelly Clarkson Tributes Patti Page and Carole King
(Radio.com) Kelly Clarkson took the Grammy stage not to sing one of her own songs, but instead to pay tribute to two legends.

With just a pianist and a guitarist, Clarkson put her own bittersweet take on Patti Page's ballad "Tennessee Waltz." The best selling artist of the '50s, who passed away in January at 85, received this year's Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.

Clarkson also paid tribute to the other Lifetime Achievement recipient, Carole King, with a soulful version of "Natural Woman." King has won four statues in her career including Song Of The Year for "You've Got A Friend" and Album Of The Year for Tapestry in 1972. More than ten years ago, Clarkson actually performed the song as a contestant on American Idol. more on this story
