Hailing from Dallas, TX (originally Los Angeles) Tearabyte's sound can be described as huge, not bad for only three guys. Fronted by Al Mead (who was once with GG Allin) on bass and vocals, Kevin Mead on guitar, and Jeff Owens on drums. Tearabyte hits you right off the bat with the instrumental title track "The Gloom Factory", and keeps it going with "Technophobic" a song about man's dependancy on technology. "Romper Stomper" (track 5, not to be confused with the Russel Crow skinhead movie) has got to be one of the best tracks on the whole album, about a man and his love for the mosh pit. And their take on "Comfortably Numb" just goes to show that you don't need six guitars to effectively cover a Pink Floyd song.

Even though there are only 11 tracks listed on the case, there are actually 12. The last composed of bonus and live material from the x-mas shows Dec 2002 and 2003 at Graffitis Rock Room. So not surprisingly, a lot of the bonus stuff is x-mas songs like "Silent Night", "Am I The Evil Little Drummer Boy", "Rudolf The Red Nosed Raindeer", "Jingle Bells", and "Santa Al Is Coming To Town". In addition, you will also find some other Tearabyte songs such as "Doom Generation", and "Road Rage", not to mention a hilarious song called "Country Pig." This is, without a doubt, a CD for any metal fan.
