Winehouse was admitted to University College London Hospital Wednesday morning and released a few hours later. According to the BBC, a label spokesperson said "Amy was discharged from the hospital this afternoon and has been advised to take complete rest. Scheduled performances in Norway and Denmark this week have been cancelled."

The singer also missed a festival appearance on July 4th at Liverpool Summer Pops. Gigwise reported at the time that she missed the gig because she was believed to be hospitalized for an unknown reason. It was later reported that she missed the gig due to "exhaustion" but she was said to have been spotted drinking in her local pub hours after axing that gig.
