Matchbox Twenty Get Retrospective

08/27/07
.
(antiMusic) Remember Matchbox Twenty? If not the band is releasing a new "greatest hits" package in Rocktober to remind you of who they are and were. And to make it worth a purchase for diehard fans that already have all of the albums, they are including brand new tracks as an enticement.

The double disc set entitled, 'Exile on Mainstream,' (obviously inspired by the Stones) will hit stores on October 2nd and will feature six new songs on the first disc and almost a dozen of the band's past hits on the second disc.

The band is reportedly planning to hit the road in support of the effort but dates have yet to be announce, however you can catch them on TV promoting the CD. They have booked a slot on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on October 4th, then will visit Jimmy Kimmel Live the next night. Then on October 8th you'll have to chances to see them on TV when they appear on The Today Show and Ellen DeGeneres show.

Tracklisting: 1) How Far We've Come 2) I'll Believe You When 3) All Your Reasons 4) These Hard Times 5) If I Fall 6) I Can't Let You Go ** Disc 2: 1) Long Day 2) Push 3) Real World 4) 3am 5) Back 2 Good 6) Bent 7) If You're Gone 8) Mad Season 9) Disease 10) Unwell 11) Bright Lights
