Heaven and Hell UK

10/19/07
.
(PR) HEAVEN AND HELL – the new band featuring legendary heavy metal singer Ronnie James Dio (Dio, Black Sabbath, Rainbow) alongside original Black Sabbath members Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler, plus drummer Vinny Appice (Dio, Black Sabbath) – will embark on a major 11-date UK arena tour starting at Newcastle Metro Arena on Sunday 4th November. Lamb of God and Iced Earth are special guests, making this one of the year's hardest-hitting must-see heavy metal triple bills.

With its bewitching stage set and truly timeless, classic metal, the Heaven And Hell World Tour spotlights Ronnie James Dio's tenure with Black Sabbath and will feature selections from all three of the group's the studio albums, Heaven And Hell (1980), Mob Rules (1981) and Dehumanizer (1992), as well as the newly recorded tracks.
Dubbing the group Heaven And Hell after one of its signature hits, the band launched a much-anticipated world tour in North America earlier this year. The group celebrated its first U.S. concert in 15 years with a sold-out performance at Radio City Music Hall on 30th March. Recorded and filmed in its entirety for DVD/CD release, the concert, entitled Heaven And Hell Live From Radio City Music Hall, was released by SPV on 27th August.

The starts at Newcastle Metro Radio Arena on November 4th and takes in Glasgow SECC (Nov 6), Sheffield Hallam FM Arena (Nov 7), Manchester MEN Arena (Nov 9), London Wembley Arena (Nov 10), Brighton Centre (Nov 11), Birmingham NEC (13 Nov), Cardiff International Arena (Nov 14), Nottingham Arena (Nov 15), Plymouth Pavilions (Nov 17) & Bournemouth BIC (Nov 18).
