(PR) MySpace Music announces that The Ting Tings will be playing a show at the Barbary in Philadelphia on Halloween, October 31 as part of MySpace's Secret Show series. Doors open at 7:30 and fans attending are urged to come in costume. The Secret Show is a free, exclusive performance for the MySpace community.
Jules De Martino and Katie White, aka The Tings Tings, have been consistently winning over critics and audiences alike with their irresistible blend of electro-pop sounds and dance-punk attitude. Their debut album We Started Nothing was a #1 album in the UK and the first single, "Shut Up and Let Me Go" also reached the top of the UK charts. In the US, music fans know the song from massive radio play, its use in an iPod commercial and it's use on TV in "Gossip Girl" and "90210."
MySpace Music has organized more than 150 Secret Shows since the franchise launched in February 2006 with artists like Gnarls Barkley, The Offspring, Neil Diamond, Slayer, Fran Ferdinand, and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs performing in cities around the world.
