Alice in Chains Starr Drug Bust was a top pop story in April 2009. Here it is again as we recap 2009: Former Alice in Chains bassist Mike Starr isn't having a very good week. For one thing his former band has regrouped and just released a critically acclaimed comeback album without him and now we learn that he was reportedly arrested in Los Angeles last week on a drug charge. It sounds like a good thing he'll be part of the next Celebrity Rehab.Blabbermouth reported over the weekend: Starr is currently being held at the Bauchet Street Jail in downtown L.A.. His bail is set at $100,000 and he is due for arraignment at the Pasadena Superior court on October 14. Earlier this year, Starr was selected as a cast member for the third season of the VH1 reality series "Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew". Hosted by Dr. Drew Pinsky, the season will consist of eight episodes that follow the real-life experiences of celebrity patients undergoing detoxification and treatment at the Pasadena Recovery Center. - more on this story
