Metal Heads To Get Festival for Children's Hospitals

05/29/2009
.
(PR) Concert promoter Tony Kessman of Maverick Productions announced today that they are producing a Heavy Metal festival in Sacramento in Spring 2010 to benefit the Shriners Childrens Hospitals.

The shows title 2010 Heavy Metal Shred for the Shriners pretty much describes what Tony Kessman the concert promoter and producer has in mind.

An all day long music festival with some big headliners and some upcoming popular artists as well. Mr. Kessman reports that he is in contact with some of the worlds most famous Heavy Metal bands and he is sure this cause will attract several of them. The Shriners Childrens Hospitals needs over a million dollars per day to operate and all from donated funds. They take no money from the parents of the children receiving care.

Mr. Kessman stated that he knows Heavy Metal music is still very popular. "All of those Metal bands getting together to help raise money for the Shriners Children will be fun and also show the hearts of gold that these heavy rockers have".

Tony Kessman was the promoter and artistic coordinator for the Jordin Sparks-Rhythm Riders Mix It Up Variety show held in Phoenix last February also to benefit the Shriners Childrens Hospitals. Clips of that show and more can be found on the Maverick Productions Myspace page located at www.myspace.com/heavymetalurge.
