(PR) XS Records sent over this update: Still saddened and shocked by the death of Lucy Vodden, Julian Lennon re-entered the studio this week after a 10-year hiatus to record "Lucy," a duet with James Scott Cook. Vodden, a childhood friend of Lennon's, inspired him to draw a picture that later inspired his father John Lennon to pen the song "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds." Elton John, Lennon's godfather, later re-recorded the song. "LUCY" is scheduled to be released next week, with profits from the song's sales going to support lupus research. - Julian posted some more info here
