You gotta hand it to Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley of KISS, they may have figured out a way to earn money from KISS without doing any of the work. But at least the scheme won't include Paul's son. Rock Radio reports: Simmons and Stanley have been talking-up the concept of the glam-rock machine continuing without them in recent months. They say the brand is bigger than any member of the band, including the two remaining founding members. But if Kiss should enter a second generation, it won't include Stanley's 16-year-old son Evan – even though his dad admits the youngster is a better guitarist than him.
"I'll never be as good as Evan. He jams with us during sound checks, but will he ever play onstage with us? I hope not," Stanley tells the New York Daily News. "I want all three of my kids to live by the same philosophy that got me where I am, which is: find your own path. - more on this story
