Great Northern head underwater in their new video for "New Tricks," which premiered on Friday. A stunning underwater odyssey, the video, directed by Jason Zada, was shot in the new ultra-high-definition 4K format against the backdrop of the Long Beach Aquarium of the Pacific.
In technological terms, the new 4K Super HD format increases the 1080p of HD TV to 4096p while upping the bitrate by 25% and pixel density 600%, with a resolution of 4096 x 1706. In layman terms, the new format creates a higher quality picture lending itself to a more cinematic feeling video with the incredible colors of the ocean water fish in "New Tricks" jumping out from your computer screen.
