Both rockers have gone public with their thoughts on Aerosmith's Steven Tyler's decision to join American Idol as a judge.In an interview with New York's Q104.3 FM, The Examiner reports Slash expressed sympathy for Tyler's fans and Aerosmith bandmates, and disappointment in the charismatic frontman's judgment. "It's really sort of disappointing to me that he's gone and done that, for whatever reason," says Slash. "A lot of it having to do with (the fact that) I just know the guy, and the other guys in the band are bummed out, and they've had a really rocky road for a while. And then just because 'American Idol' is what it is, so it's hard for me to put the thing together." - more on this story
