Matt Kennon Sets Album Release, See Him On Fox News This Morning

02/12/2010
.
Riding the momentum of his poignant breakthrough single "The Call", Matt Kennon will release his self-titled debut album on April 27, 2010 on BamaJam Records. Co-written by Kennon with Noah Gordon and Jeremy Campbell, "The Call" is lighting up request lines nationwide with its compelling reminder of the importance of reaching out to those we love. The moving video for the song, directed by Trey Fanjoy, made its debut on GAC and CMT Pure Country in December.

New fans anxious to see more of Matt can catch him perform on Fox News Channel's Fox & Friends – the #1 cable morning show – today, February 12 at 8:50 am (EST) as well as his performance on syndicated Better TV on February 17. Matt also recently performed on the syndicated morning show The Daily Buzz and syndicated daytime talk show Daytime.

To tide Matt's growing fan base over until the release of the album, BamaJam will be releasing the three-song The Call - EP on iTunes, Amazon.com and other key digital outlets on Tuesday, March 9. The EP will contain "The Call" along with two other tracks from the album, "The Man I Used To Be" and "Some People Piss Me Off".

"I'm really glad to be getting the EP out there," says Kennon. "It's a great way for me to get more of my music out to people who are finding out about me through "The Call" and give them a sense of what the whole record is going to be like."
