We were sent word that Trophy Scars kicked off their US tour with Nigel Silverthorn this week and also plan to release 2 new EP's in the coming months. The first in the EP series, entitled Darkness, Oh Hell, will see a late summer/early fall release and will be self-released by the band on CD and digital formats.
A possible release on vinyl is in the works as well. The 6-track EP was recorded this past winter by longtime collaborator / producer Chris Badami (Dillinger Escape Plan, The Starting Line).
Darkness, Oh Hell marks the band's first official release since 2009's critically acclaimed full length, Bad Luck (named one of the year's best by Sputnik Music) and a limited split 7" with The Saddest Landscape.
