Miley Cyrus Free World Wide Concert Broadcast

If you have an interest in seeing Miley Cyrus live in concert there is good news, you won't have to shell out major bucks to do it. In fact, you'll be able to watch the show for free courtesy of MTV. Here is the announcement:

MTV Networks' Music and Logo Group today announced that it will host an exclusive free global live stream of Miley Cyrus' album release concert on June 21 across the home pages of its US based web properties, http://miley.mtv.com, http://miley.vh1.com, http://miley.cmt.com, http://miley.logotv.com, as well as on more than 30 international sites across Europe, Canada, Latin America, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.

The live concert at Los Angeles' famed House of Blues Sunset Strip will feature Cyrus debuting tracks from her forthcoming album, "Can't Be Tamed," released the same day. In addition to the live stream, a special widget will allow for live chatting, as well as functionality to update social media pages directly from the widget.

Tickets to the live concert at the House of Blues will be on sale Wednesday, June 16 at 10:00 AM PDT at www.ticketmaster.com and Ticketmaster outlets.

In addition, on June 22, Cyrus will make her Rock Band debut with five songs in the Rock Band Music Store of downloadable content for the Xbox 360ฎ video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStationฎ3 computer entertainment system and Wii™.

"I'm so excited to perform my new music live in concert on the night of my album release. Thanks to MTV Networks, my fans from all around the world have the opportunity to be a part of it and experience it with me," said Miley Cyrus.

The live stream event will begin approximately at 10:30pm ET/7:30pm PT and be hosted on the home pages of MTV Networks' Music and Logo Group's US based properties (MTV.com, VH1.com, CMT.com and Logo's NewNextNow.com) and globally in nearly 160 countries on the home pages of its international web properties.

The event will stream alongside a live chat widget that will allow users to authenticate via their social profiles, live chat during the event and post activity directly to their social media profiles.

"Miley Cyrus is one of those rare artists whose popularity extends beyond musical genres," said Dermot McCormack, Executive Vice President, Digital Media, MTV Networks Music & Logo Group. "We're proud to extend her our global platform, allowing her to share her new album, while providing her fans a singular destination to celebrate its arrival."

Beginning June 22, the concert will be archived and made available for on-demand viewing, allowing fans to access the full concert or view specific performances. On Rock Band, Miley Cyrus Pack 01 will feature five of Miley's fan favorites, including "Can't Be Tamed" from her new album of the same name. From 2008's Breakout, "7 Things," and "Fly on the Wall" will be featured. The pack also features "See You Again" and "Start All Over" from her 2007 debut, Meet Miley Cyrus.

Cyrus added, "I can't wait for my fans to be able to download and play five of my songs in Rock Band. I love that people can rock out with me and play my new song 'Can't Be Tamed'!"
