Fresh off her success in Europe and overseas, singing sensation Fawni is beginning her US invasion by releasing her first single "Serious" on iTunes. "Serious" is the debut track off Fawni's upcoming album which will be released later this year."Serious is all about having fun in the club!" Fawni says, "Its about spotting someone you like & flirting w/ the hottie until your blood boils! That's when things get Serious!" Written and produced by A. Lehtonen (Alphaman) and with Gil Corber as executive producer, "Serious" fuses Fawni's unique edgy pop sound with her soulful R&B tone, creating an instant dance track destined to burn up the dance floor in clubs around the world and sizzle up the dance chart.
Fawni first started to gain attention in 2008 when she performed her rendition of the smash hit "Chasing Cars" at MegaJam. Her dance version of the Snow Patrol track garnered so much buzz that Tommy Boy Records released the track on their compilation album Move – Atlantis Dance 2009 which was released last year. Since then, Fawni has drawn critical praise and has been compared to Madonna, Lady Gaga and Ke$ha, among others.
