Multi-platinum recording artist Mika has released a brand new song as part of the Kick Ass soundtrack. Produced by red-hot producer RedOne (Lady Gaga, Little Boots), the song is the title track to the film, based on the popular Icon comic book series. Filled with pulsating waves of synths, a driving dance beat and Mika's brilliant signature vocals, "Kick Ass" is yet another pop masterpiece from the multi-platinum singer/songwriter. The soundtrack hits stores today, March 30th.
"Kick Ass" is the first new Mika song since the release of his sophomore album, The Boy Who Knew Too Much, in the fall of 2009. Since then, the incredible album has sold over a million copies worldwide, cementing Mika's status as one of pop music's global success stories. He was also recently nominated for a Brit Award, in the category of Best British Male Solo Artist, and contributed vocals to a star-studded Haiti benefit cover of the REM classic "Everybody Hurts" alongside Mariah Carey, Susan Boyle, Jon bon Jovi, Kylie Minogue and more.
